No, he wants a special, expedited process for them to return.

As I quoted earlier, from the CNN interview:

Trump is talking about illegals leaving the country, and then being allowed back in quickly through a special process - different from what other immigrants have to do.

Aside from being totally different from what Trump supporters think he's proposing (most seem to think he wants to deport them and keep them out), this is asinine.

You could achieve the same result by simply giving them legal status, without the massive cost (and probably rioting and violence) of a pointless temporary deportation.

When someone is terrific, we want them back here.

And how many of these mostly Mexican immigrants do you think really classify as "terrific"? This is not a high achievement pool we are talking about here. The ones that are truly exceptional, I don't think anybody has a problem letting them back in quickly. That's what our immigration system should be- finding the truly exceptional people worldwide and letting them in while refusing entry to the riff raft.

That's basically how Australia works. Countries whether us or not can't consume millions of people from an outside culture because all countries have their own cultures which should be respected. I saw a FB video come across my feed from Greece showing thousands of refugees throwing rocks at buildings/stores in Greece destroying that little community. And that goes on DAILY there. Countries should have a right to control their borders as they see fit. In the case of illegals, if you are a FELON, I'm sorry but you are getting deported. CA has about 125K illegals sitting in their prisons at $2 billion a year. And that state can't find a way to balance their budget? Please!!!

Yes, he will be doing this by filling America with terrific people who all love him. The haters and losers will be kicked out, or he will knock the hell out of them and take their land to be used for camps with big beautiful walls.

Trump has flip-flopped so many times that I don't understand why anyone here trusts what he says.

Regarding the amnesty.......if he manages to deport millions of illegals....it's possible he may not let so many of them return as suggested....or it might take considerably longer than the "expedited process". After all, he never defined how long "expedited" means....or the percentage who would be allowed to return.

Just once I wish someone would call for middle class tax amnesty. If we could get just one year off, we might be able to do some very necessary things to our home and vehicles.

I am really tired of people making expensive promises to people who are still visiting here instead of offering a bit of relief to the ones who are cleaning up after the visitors.
