Topic for people who are frustrated with Iowa

There's a real possibility that Ron is holding the cash for the long haul.

The problem is he can't tell his supporters that, because it gives away his hand to the others. If he can't break top 3 in NH, he needs to continually get better numbers or we're in trouble.

Did I mention I love beer?

Hopefully, Ron Paul is thinking about pulling a Reagan right now. I want to see some campaign heads on the chopping block.

If New Hampshire turns out like this, I will lose most of my faith in America. It will take another 20 years again to try to revive people. Hopefully by then, the old people will be intact with the internet and get some real news and not the mass media bullsh** that spreads to the ears of slowly losing old folks.

Ya know what pisses me off more than anything? What really pisses me off is that the polls were right. The polls were fucking right.

Internet be damned.

This is because of all the old people showing up. They're the ones with the landlines remember?

I was hoping we could make a stand against the Establishment at the same time.

Iowa RP supporters ddn't let us down. The bible-thumping warmongering dumbasses who voted for Huckabee let us down. They are the ones who are fucking this country, not the RP supporters.

Folks,

Its been predicted that RP would take off in NH, and that IOWA wasn't going to be where its at, however, that being said, I am a little upset with all the emphasis placed on this "straw poll" by the national campaign, especially since they aren't even willing to pay any mind to the 52 delegate votes in NJ...

Folks, on to New Hampshire, the fight is far from over yet.

There are still more than 15 counties that haven't reported ANY numbers yet. 4th place isn't out of the realm of possibilities yet. We are LESS THAN 3% behind McCain and LESS THAN 4% behind Thompson. When you talk about less than 100,000 people voting, those small percentages only equate to a couple thousand people. In a nation with over 300 million that is just a handful.

Oh that's what the Huckster thinks he's doing... someone called him Gomer, that's funny. 1st time I laughed since polls started coming in.

Ugh...the polls were right. I'm quite aggravated. I guess our whole internet assumption wasn't correct. Nobody actually got out there and voted in Iowa. Maybe we didn't have any supporters in Iowa in the first place though.

Well fuck. I was disappointed as hell with my precinct. We honestly got totally rocked by all the old people there. I did my best with the speech and all, but I guess they are just brainwashed and actually BELIEVE what those other candidates tell them.

Problem is Obama will win Iowa, which will take Independents from RP in NH. Also, McCain beat RP without trying and is leading NH. Fred now has momentum by over-exceeding expectations.

This all fell wrong for RP. Only a miracle in NH will turn things around, and I don't see it.

HOWEVER, RP has my support the whole way. I will write him in for president if need be. We need to keep pushing RP and make this a movement to usurp the neocons next election.

Whatever neocon goes up against a DEM for prez will be slaughtered. We need to keep pushing RP to get as many delegates as possible for the convention and use it as a platform to change the GOP back to what it is supposed to be, but I'm afraid too many RP supporters don't care about the GOP, so how does the movement go on?

Alright - this is the thread - so I admit I'm disappointed. But - I won't give up until Ron does. So tomorrow I'm going to pull my face out of the pillow and keep going. The message and the choice is right - nothing here changes that.

Given how different the counties numbers are with the exception of Huck and Mitt, RP could still do very well. Let it ride out and then on to NH. I do agree that I saw some questionable stuff on CSPAN2 but probably not enough to make any real difference unless the same flippant vote counting occured in all counties.

LISTEN. There was a CENTRAL COMPUTER tabulating the VOTES, leaving a gaping vulnerability and no way to verify the computer did its job. ...and since Iowa was Diebold rigged in '04 , why believe we get anything different this year?

He's probably thinking that the time wasn't ripe for America just yet after all.

I guess we need to become a third world country before people will wake the F**K up! There is hope for 2012 when we all go vote in sackcloth and ashes!
