John McCain: Citigroup Inc $153,362

So McCain is taking funds from a company recently bailed out by money from a nation that supporters terror. I thought all McCain wasn't interested in Al Qaeda because all they want to do is 'trade burkahs".

Abu Dhabi invested Seven and a half billion dollars into the struggling company and investors cheered. This is, of course, in contrast to the response the United Arab Emirates received not that long ago when they tried to buy US ports. What short memories Americans have.

The bail out of Citigroup comes at no small price to Citi, who agreed to pay junk bond rates on this loan. Citigroup will be paying the UAE 11% on these bonds, a rate that only unstable risky companies would be expected to pay.

As far back as 1999, U.S. intelligence spotted Osama bin Laden at a desert training camp in Afghanistan for about a week. There was an opportunity to destroy the entire camp with cruise missiles. But the operation was called off because an official aircraft from the UAE was spotted, along with members of the royal family.

It turned out bin Laden was hunting with the princes of the UAE. Concerned that the princes might be collateral damage in a strike, the mission was called off. Two years later, 3,000 Americans were killed as a result.

In addition, at least two of the 19 hijackers were from the UAE. The UAE was one of only three countries in the world to recognize the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. UAE banks have also been found to be a source of terrorism financing ? before 9-11 and after. The UAE has proved less than cooperative with American investigators tracking that funding.

And you determined this how? If you've heard of the company before they're somehow part of this shadowy CFR conspiracy? This type of nonsense really needs its own label, possibly something like "Everyone richer and more famous than me is secretly plotting against me" paranoia.

How bout you look at the CFR's website before you accuse me of posting nonsense.

I'm still going to accuse you of posting nonsense because you're hinting at some baseless shadowy CFR conspiracy nonsense. Plus, you're ignoring that top heads at various companies are all CFR members according to conspiracy nutters, and just not corporate members. Like Bear Sterns for example. Or Gates with Microsoft.

Some of us choose to believe the CFR embraces the NWO. I guess you choose not to. But, there seems to be a greater number of people who choose to believe there is a difference in ideology where the CFR embraces the NWO. This is not any kind of conspiracy but instead a difference in ideology. If it was a conspiracy, then there would be little to no talk of it on the CFR web site. But if one does just a little bit of research, they can read about the NWO and how the CFR embraces it. Just look at their web site and you will also be aware they embrace it.

May I suggest doing some research before trying to dismiss this as a conspiracy. Why are people from these companies covering all bases? What are they getting in return? I suppose the existence and undue influence of lobbyists is also a conspiracy in your book.

Well I can tell you from what I see in Ron Paul's section is that I bet most of those people are military veterans since most of them hire vets for contracting jobs.
