Today Show: The Candidate's Homes

Ron's house is awesome. If a nice set-up like that goes for $325,000- I might need to look into Lake Jackson. Wow.

What's humbling is that his house is on an unpaved road, just off of a main road. The other homes on the unpaved road are modest, middle/working class homes. When I drove through, I wondered: "What do these folks think about Ron Paul?"

In Newt's defense, there are a lot of places in Northern VA where 995k will get you a 2000sf townhouse. It's entirely possible that Ron Paul's Texas house is much more opulent.

Why is Ron Paul selling his house?

If it's the one in the pic, maybe because it's an architectural abomination.

Ron is selling his old house, he had a newer home built recently.

I was in Lake Jackson for New Years about a mile from Dr. Paul's house. He walks and rides his bike in the neighborhood I was in. I never saw him, but I did drive by his house. :)

$325,000!!!!!

Heck, i got to move out of California

Wow and here I was feeling almost sad for Huntsman for being such a failure on the trail. Not anymore. Hope he get's 6th place in SC and goes home crying to his 12 bedroom house.

So Huntsman lives in daddy's 55 million Park City pad? Average run of the mill joe right there.

Paul's place looks like a nice pad. Seems to have a good deal of land too. I'd say that would go in the 400K-500K range up here, depending on how far out it is from the cities.

You guys have to remember that Huntsman was probably living in China during most of his time being ambassador and the most logical thing to do was to send his wife and daughters to live with his parents. I wouldn't criticize the guy for doing the most financially sensible thing.

that may very well be true; but let me ask you this. you think this son of a billionaire (huntsman) has ever cleaned any of the toilets in that 16bathroom house? Ever cleaned a toilet anywhere, ever?

Please submit that as a debate question.

"I'd like to ask each of the candidates, and we can go down the line here, have you ever cleaned a toilet? Governor Romney?"

Ugh that segment made me sick. All that crusty real estate broad did was talk about how wonderful and beautiful the other candidate's houses were and how smart they were for making good investments (in Newt's case) and how good they were for being rich. Talking about RP's house all they had to say was that it was dirty, had ugly decor, and that he was asking too much.
