Today Ron Paul on Alex Jones Show, Time, TBD, 11am - 2pm CT

I clicked on this thread for one reason, and one reason only, to chuckle at the meltdown from some of the usual suspects.

I was not disappointed.

Ron Paul doesn't throw his long time friends, associates and media contacts, who have loyal supporters for years, under the bus.

Deal with it.

Hopefully he'll get a good moneybomb plug in there.

Ron Paul isn't on the show for more votes. He's on for more money. For the past several months people have been beside themselves wondering how to get the moneybombs promoted on AJ's show. This is how.

I suspect Ron is on because Alex asked him to be on, so when he was doing a full day of radio interviews, didn't want to leave Alex out. I am not discounting the donations from any group that considers themselves disenfranchised, including AJ's listeners, horrified constitutionalists, anti war, etc etc etc. In combination, those groups are what keep Ron funded.

Unlike Alex Jones, my support, financial or otherwise, is not conditional on having Ron Paul come on my show to talk about false flag terror

You responded to someone saying:

Haters gonna hate. What have you haters done for Ron Paul? Alex promotes Ron everyday, and here we have haters contributing nothing of value to an internet thread. Move along.

Clearly Ron Paul isn't on AJ everyday.

I don't live within the left/right paradigm. Is it normal behavior for people within this forum to make assumptions about a person's understanding of the world based on one or two comments within a completely unrelated thread?

I commented on your comment of you just don't get it. If you know about the issues, why is it you don't get it?

Hmmmm....I didn't think about that. I hope they talk exclusively about the "fast and furious" false flag operation. That would be perfect. I would love to see some fake conservative trying to attack Ron Paul for attacking the Obama Whitehouse for attacking the 2nd amendment through a false flag operation! Throw me in that briar patch!

Hopefully they spend the whole time talking about Fast and Furious. I couldn't be more pleased than if that is the case

Alex said that RP was talking about fast and furious in regards to a false flag NOT 9/11 or otherwise, CHILL! AJ knows not to get him in trouble.

Glad to hear it, maybe they were watching this thread lol

Great! Something we can all agree on! Group cyber hug!

Alex said at the beginning of the show that him and Ron and been trying to schedule an interview and a time for him to be on the show but the schedules never matched up. Alex ask if he could just record it early one day and Ron was available at 6:30AM EST to do the interview. Alex will be showing that interview at 2:30PM EST.

Alex is always respectful to Ron's position when he interviews. They also sound great together, always a great convo.

EDIT: And yes, the 'false flag' they will be talking about is Fast & Furious. Sarah Palin even tweeted about F&F yesterday being done to take away gun rights.

Alex is a good guy. I don't agree with some of the things he says (mainly the 9/11 truth-esque stuff), but I don't have a hatred for him. He isn't one of my biggest influences though either. Inforwars is pretty good for news articles and such. I like listening to his interviews with people (he is very good at interviews).

Why do we as a community have to go through this every time Alex Jones is mentioned??

Government LIES
Media LIES

If your not listening to Alex or people like him your missing out. If you don't believe something Alex says look it up, do some research and don't toss the baby out with the bath water if theres something said you don't think is true. We're all in the same boat guys with the same goals, FREEDOM being the top goal.

I don't understand how not going on someone's show is equated to throwing all of that person's audience under the bus

Paul could do much more educating as President than as a candidate

my god, it's like some of you people are just itching at the trigger to complain about anything and everything Ron Paul does or says.

Here's a fact: there is nothing you can do to stop this interview. It's going on.
Here's another: He's been on Alex's show plenty of times before... and you know where it got him? Well, the same place everything else he's ever done got him: in position to win Iowa in the 2012 GOP Presidential Primary. That is the summation of everything he's ever done.

It disgusts me that you'd want Ron Paul to turn his back on some of his early supporters, and one of the men most responsible for getting Ron Paul's message out there past the mainstream media filters. I don't even listen to Alex Jones, but I recognize that he's done more for Ron Paul than the vast majority of individual members here... because he has access to a big listenership.

So how about this: rather than being all concerned, and talking about how this could hurt Ron Paul, and telling us why this is a bad idea... how about you just listen to the damn interview, and when Ron Paul drops truth bombs you can go 'oh damn'. Because you know what? Going on Alex Jones won't hurt RP. It will spread his message to more people. The mainstream media can spew hate and lies at Ron Paul with or without this interview, but Ron Paul can only reach more people by speaking where he can. Alex will ask real questions... not 'will you run third party' and 'what did you think of Newt's suit?'.

Just imagine if you had asked this key question before jumping to conclusions. I didn't get the strategy. I have no problem with Alex Jones but I'm not sure one can argue that Alex Jones is viewed as mainstream; my understanding is that the general public (the people we need to win the election) view him as fringe, a perception the campaign is fighting to shed from Ron Paul. People tend to judge other people based on who they associate with, right or wrong.

Given this, I didn't understand the purpose of having this interview 3 weeks before the Iowa caucus. However, if the hope is to tap into a large donor base via this interview, I get that.

I regret that I only have one plus rep to give this epic post.

And I hope you understand that since you can't stop this interview from happening, posting a dozen times about how bad this is for him does no good, can't change a thing, and only spreads ill will and saps confidence. We get it, you wish he didn't go on. Now how about you go say it a dozen more times, and how this will hurt him. Keep it up. I'm sure it helps his election chances, right?

The general public doesn't know (or likely care) who Alex Jones is.

You should probably review mentions of Alex Jones in the mainstream media (the media the majority of the American continue to receive their news from).

Enough with the sensationalist language bs

It DISGUSTS me that some of Paul's supporters need to have him on a radio show that could provide attack ammunition to other candidates and debate moderators when they could do just as much moneybomb promotion without it

This is why we don't need a December surprise: https://twitter.com/#!/ppppolls/status/146655829494472704

President Paul could do us all a lot more good than former-candidate Paul
