If I recall, in 2007 at this time Ron Paul was trying to get his quarterly donation total up to $1 million. The first big money bomb was November 5, 2007, and the big one was December 16, 2007.

We weren't even talking about a blimp yet.

it just needs to have more time and momentum to snowball. And if I were to guess, I would say they didn't promote the MB on the front page because they were afraid that it would be an embarrassment. But an "embarrassment" won't be an option if we build up a ton of momentum for the next one.

Yeah, that's the number one goal... no matter how good the theme is people can't join if they don't know it exists. There were a few things that made it more difficult in the beginning. The first couple weeks were really just trying to get the website, graphics, videos, social media accounts and everything else created and built up.

Things started taking off more in the second half, and even more so the final week. Near the end we were able to finally make connections and get some of the bigger Rand Paul Facebook pages and groups to pin the video to the top of their page.

That's the benefit of being able to use the same central money bomb accounts over again. The next one should be able to start closer to where we left off, instead of needing to be built from scratch. So that alone will help it reach more people and raise more money.

And yeah, right now I'm probably also leaning more towards having extra time to promote one bigger money bomb than attempting to do two that would each be rushed.

Exactly right! We have momentum now, and a structure in place to boot. So we need to pick a date asap so that 1) we have lots of time to organize it, and 2) we can preclude diluting with multiple mbs from other supporters.

Are there any mbs that other people are already planning (that have enough time to properly organize) so we can get behind it together?
What is a good date for the next mb? Needs to be far enough out to plan well, on a date that can allow for exciting theme, and I don't know what else.
Are weekdays or weekends typically higher donation days, would before or after the next debate be better etc. things like that should factor in as well.
Or am I just stating the obvious?

On a side note, i have finished my TEFL certification, so I'm now only attending one university, and I expect to have reduced hours at work in the coming month, so I should actually be helpful this time.
