Last month, you rip up my car magnets while I'm in a store. So I bought 4 more.

Now last night you tear up my lawn signs. Guess what, all that does is make me go back to the Ron Paul campaign store and buy more gear. I didn't realize they had hoodies and 2x6 foot banners now! How cool is that!! So I picked up some of those too.. and some tax-free-tip cards I was thinking about getting.. and some more yard signs and a few more things..

So by ripping up my yard signs, Ron Paul haters, you just donated $221.00 to the campaign. Again.

Do it again, I dare you and Ron Paul thanks you.

By the tire tracks in my lawn looks like a drive-by sign-mowing. This time I'm dropping some home made spike strips under the "easiest targets"

Also a 2'x6' banner in my tree and doubling the number of signs. :-)

Hellz yea, spike strips.
It's private property, so you can put almost any reasonable defense system in place.
Electrified RP signs?

Just don't set anything up that will hurt a trespasser too much, that could be bad press.

I wish I could +rep you a 2nd time. Badass.

Eletricfy the sign.

Use a car? Hide/camouflage tire spikes around it.

Edit: you thought of it.

Can you get a surveillance camera? XD

That happened to me in 2008 too. People around here told me to use skunk urine or some other foul spray and if they touch it, they're basically effed. LMAO.

Luckily I live where everyone is packing (mountains of NC). My next door neighbor shot off probably 1000 rounds (from about 12 pm till 7pm) yesterday with what sounded like an automatic (or one bad ass semi and a twitchy trigger finger). Somebody pulls that crap on me they get a 12 gauge deer slug in there ass.

Electrify your signs so when someone touches them they get the hell shocked out of them. :)

This might not be funny to you and I am sorry, but that was a Cheap Trick those dweebs took part in. :D

Edit
The band Cheap Trick are from Rockford.

You need to build a pit with 12' stakes in the bottom with crocodiles. Use the sign as bait.

Update: Appreciate all the "electrified sign" ideas but this was an obvious drive-by/vehicular attack and I don't want to accidentally shock some neighbor's dog as it pees on my signs or kid trick-or-treating who might bump into them while walking down the street.

That being said, I have worked all day and have developed a very nice defense system for the new signs on order. The next drive-by-mowing of my lawn signs will not only result in an additional donation to the Ron Paul campaign to replace any damaged signs, it will also inflict financial damage on any vehicle who decides to drive on my lawn to mow those signs down again... who knows, maybe even catch them by disabling their vehicle.

Basically I took a few 4-5 foot pieces of 3/4" oak flooring I had leftover from a remodeling project and turned them into some killer spike strips. I drove in some nails and screws first, but then expanded to some longer rivets.. which finally got me thinking to drill some small holes through the length of larger diameter screws and put them in the board, then took a rotozip metal cutting wheel to the screws to weaken them so they break off in any tires that run over them and impale themselves.

Once my new signs get in, the ones closest to the road will get a few of these 4' tire-shredders embedded in the lawn so you can't see them until you've blown your tires on them, but won't exactly endanger anyone just passing by my property.
