To the quitters, the sell-outs, and the giver-upers...

We must all continue supporting Ron Paul because all the other candidates are big government neo-con warmongers who would give away our sovereignty in a heart beat!

Ron Paul is the ONLY small government and pro-freedom candidate!

Ron Paul all the way. I will write him on the ballot If I have to.

And don't forget to run for congress! We can support each other and take it all back!
damn straight!!! -- there is NO other vote!!!

1 state...1 caucus....no problemo.....;) ...we still have our delegates!

& sure NH is a biggy...yet i'm looking forward to RP shocking the hell out of the country on super duper tuesday!! this is just the begining of a wild ride..& we all new that from the get go...we took a stand for a different kind of person...

an honest one...what a novel approach to politics :)

btw...RP isn't giving up....so anyone wimping out this early...probably came from another camp here a long time ago.

don't fall for the *head games*

here's to our Constitution!!!!!!!!!

I will support Ron Paul until death do us part, but I am furious with his campaign right now.

Ron Paul is a great man, and he deserves better than this.

Iowa is full of farmers and old people (trust me, I'm from there).

Farmers and old people don't usually have the internet, and as a result are very unlikely to know about Ron Paul.

Iowa shouldn't even be the first state in the primaries for this reason. How about Texas or California with a more diverse population?

Thanks for posting that clip of Mr. Smith goes to Washington. I makes me think of the heroes of my life, and who I look up to. Our nation epitomizes the history of underdogs. We beat the world's biggest empire, damnit.

Ron Paul may lose Iowa, but Ron Paul will not lose me.

Don't be a fair weather fan. Remember what that did to Nazi Germany.

Weed out the cowards and quitters!

If coming in 5th in one relatively minor state is all it takes for you to lose faith, then we don't need you. Seriously, if you look at the number of donors, meetups, etc. compared to NH, Iowa was NOT Ron's strongest state. Quit bitching and being negative and get back to work. We are only about 3000 votes from 3rd place, it isn't that bad. We have the money and volunteers to keep going, others don't. If we can get third in NH, no one will remember Iowa in a week.

Big Picture Is Clear To See...

10% tonight, beating by more than two-fold the leader of only a couple months ago, and next in five days we'll be taking home an even higher % in NH and knocking out another candidate or two that were ahead of us tonight.

Yes, we'll continue to be largely ignored, but all the while those top ranked leaders will continue to tear each other apart, let em, as it will make our job easier later, same as Guiliani whom we just rolled over tonight.

BTW, for me, I'll be supporting Ron Paul and his message vigorously for as long as his star burns brightly illuminating the masses to the loss of their Constitutional freedoms and liberties.

When it comes time to take this country back, whether he had won or not, we'll have then a lot more fellow patriots standing shoulder-to-shoulder with us because of him and this historic campaign having awakened them.

And, remember, it did not take a majority the first time to do so, and won't the second go-around either.

Do we all get it?
They are saying that change won tonight. Sheeple! I know change, and it isn't Huckaberry. It's Ron, and all of us! It starts with Ron, but it needs to be about liberty and freedom. That is in all Americans that hear it ring.

Congress has a 10% approval rating, Ron Paul is going to get 10% or better in an old state that thinks a new idea is running faucets. That's his supporters SCREAMING for change. America is outraged at our government and the 10% approval for congress and 10% in Iowa for Dr. Ron proves it.

I get it, and I will fight for it! No way change is NOT going to happen from here on out.

You claim you want a candidate that can win, eh? Well, who tells you who can win? QUOTE]

To those who have started finger pointing or started losing hope - don't!
Kindly read this and hopefully if you agree with it - withdraw your posts.

Please don't blame Ron Paul supporters in IOWA.

Look at the OVERALL picture.

Democrats voted for Obama.
Hillary and Edwards were seen as 'the same old ruling elite' and lost.
People really want CHANGE badly enough that a 95% white State is willing to vote for a black guy.

They only find it hard to trust a Republican.

Romney was beaten by Huckabee. A strong evangelical Christian presence in Iowa wanted to make a statement against a Mormon candidate. This religious aspect will likely not play out the same as Iowa in the rest of the States.

Thompson and McCain were always given time on the air by the main stream media - unlike Dr. Paul. And yet Dr. Paul is close enough to those two (~3%)that it is a dead heat. Dr. Paul is clearly ahead of the supposed Republican frontrunner Giuliani What more if Dr. Paul was given equal air-time?.

Check your assumptions! Don't lash out blindly.

People REALLY, badly want change.

Ron Paul can still win this, but several MAJOR things have to be done.

The PRIMARY mistaken assumption is that 'the message is perfect' - it is not. Each message must be refined and clarified so that it doesn't scare people. It must be re-packaged far better next time - enough to convince Democrats to vote for Dr. Paul.

The way we handle the MSM is another major item we must deal with. And there are several ways that we can do this effectively.

Other things will have to be done as well, but I cannot cover them all here.

Don't lose hope my friends. Ron Paul is the only real hope for America.

Be resolute.

Anyone who is sticking with Dr. Paul, go donate some cash to his campaign if you can. I'm putting in $25 to let the good Dr. know that we are still here, we still support him, and we respect his integrity of not overly pandering to the evangelicals.

And hell, we still beat rudy. I'm glad to see that-- finally vindicated for that "ridiculous" exchange during the debate.

Remember, the tortoise and the hare?
