Malcolm X is one of my biggest political influences and I know that Rand has stated that he isn't too familiar with Malcolm X and I wanted to give him a little information on Malcolm before he addresses another predominately black audience.

Here is a good first video:

Malcolm X basically ripped apart the progressive white plutocracy and their schemes. Rand should definitely do some research on him because he's a virtual goldmine of startling quotes.

"I am not a racist. I am against every form of racism and segregation, every form of discrimination. I believe in human beings, and that all human beings should be respected as such, regardless of their color." - Malcolm X

Malcolm X was a very big influence on me, too. I first studied him when I was in high school in the '60s. There was a movie made about his life in 1992 starring Denzel Washington. It was very well done.

Wasn't Malcolm X against capitalism?

No. He advocated entrepreneurship, but he had a zero sum view on economics.

his "ballot or bullet" speech is a masterpiece. X despised welfare and supported the 2nd amendment.

another black conservative is James Meredith, whose latest book is an eye opener.

Booker t. Washington.

Marcus Garvey--who hopefully will be pardoned one day.

Zora Neale Hurston---libertarian

hmm, but i wonder how it would be for Rand to be talking about the conspiracy theories surrounding his death.
that might be used against him by the media.
though taking cues about X's philosophy and use of his quotes might be handy with certain audiences.

Yeah, I don't buy not knowing much on x. Rand is well-read guy, but he knows praising him too much could turn off older voters who think x was a lunatic.

Yeah, Rand has to be careful of how much and how he references Malcolm X, if he does it at all. It would be smart to utilize quotes from Malcolm that contradict the current Progressive mindset that Obama currently leads. Malcolm would have hated Barack Obama and would have seen right through him if he was alive today, much like did with JFK and LBJ.

Rand should do a lot of research on Malcolm just so he doesn't come across as a panderer who just read Malcolm X quotes on Goodreads or whatever.
