To all those who were around in 2007 and haven't stopped for a moment

Thanks for all those who never gave up! I've been around since 2007. Once a Paul supporter, always a Paul supporter. Once you "get it", you can't "un-get it".

Thank you everyone, new and old! An explosion is coming tomorrow, I hope and pray. Are we ready for it?

I am so grateful for "If you google Ron Paul" song/slogan that caught my attention and by the end of my searches and the Nov Vendetta money bomb, I was hooked for life. I knew that I had found the candidate I had been wanting for four decades.

Thanks to everyone who loves RP, new, old, and the originals. Thanks for those early money bombs and all the enthusiasm. So much to look forward to for liberty, we can never again take it for granted. :)

I ran for delegate in 2008 and am running again this time. The BIG difference I see this go around is the number of women at the meetings. Last time it was usually just me and a couple of other women and mostly a whole bunch of cranky old men and scruffy young ones. I knew that had to change and it has. We might do it this time. Still the nicest people I have ever met.

A mind stretched by Paulitica cannot unstretch itself back to its unexpanded state.
Liberty is an irreversible process, and this is my cause for optimism regarding the future
and the youth respecting only authentic integrity.

I'm 22 now, and I haven't experienced this amount of enthusiasm or passion for anything since the last election. I have no recollection of my first exposure to Ron Paul, but I know I've not been the same person since. I really want to see RP's ideas convert a lot more people this election, if nothing else. Fingers crossed though :)

I was only a half-hearted Paul supporter last cycle but I'm all in this time.

Thank you all for not being half-hearted last time, and before that.

Edit: Actually the whole entire reason I got into Paul last cycle was because of you folks. The whole enthusiastic support he had in the debates where I thought he would just be booed, and all the online/TV polls he dominated, and I'll never forget the signs on the overpasses on 95 that really got me to look him up. I just wish I knew this site and the dailypaul existed last time.

thank you indeed. I remember being so bummed out after Iowa caucus in 08 that I just stopped caring about this stuff and even felt a little ashamed to be apart of it. Then when I heard the Ames straw poll results this time around I was back to being intrigued and it just grew and grew and now I'm proud to be part of this movement again. it's all because of the people that stayed true to this message through it all. and this time I know that no matter how he does in Iowa he's already won. He's already made a huge impact on the party and on the politics of the country. It doesn't matter if he makes it to victory or not, his influence will be heard and it will be powerful.

Many of us have been here since 2007, but we're all still newbs compared to Ron Paul, who has been doing this since the early 70's. Think about that for a bit.

This is no short-term commitment; it's for life. Even when Ron Paul is President, it's still just the beginning. Hopefully, at some time in my life, I'll be working to maintain liberty, rather than fighting to get my liberty back.

"Once you learn the truth you have an obligation to do something about it." -Ron Paul
I've always loved that quote... it sums up a lot of his life.
