...where people just want to eliminate difficulty rather than experience it, learn from it, work with it, transcend it.
I liked this forum because this community was unique in that regard for a long time. It seems the attitude you stated, however, now prevails. There are far more difficult people we need to get through in the real world. I know it's "just an internet forum", but this situation reflects accurately upon this movement, in that too many would rather preach to the choir than tolerate perceived divisiveness. It's unfortunate this mentality has overtaken a previously wiser leadership of this forum.
