Time's person of the year has always been who was the most INFLUENTIAL person of that year. It's neither a compliment nor an insult to be chosen. Just because Hitler was chosen in 1939 doesn't make being Person of the Year a bad thing, it just means he was the most influential person (according to Time) that year, which is perfectly justified. I personally think Ron Paul should have at least been a runner-up. This is the type of thing we can't brush off and ignore just because we didn't get our way. And Time not choosing Paul doesn't make them any less credible. They are a very well respected news organization, and it's things like Time that we need to cooperate with, not battle. So for everyone bashing Time and calling them names or whatever, just move on and fight the good fight. All we can do this point is educate people and hope for the best in four years.
