Thomas Massie may delay the bailout... Congress livid with him

Is there any delay here that isn't caused by pork barrel politicians trying to avoid going on the record with their votes?

Well if he is doing it on principle he is missing a lot of opportunity by not taking interviews and telling them why .

What if he explained why and no one pointed a microphone at him?

I do not think any of them will mind going on record for the vote . So if that is it , wasted effort certainly .

This is too funny. Kerry hasn't forgotten that Massie made fun of his political 'science' degree.

Thomas is getting it from both sides. Wow. Reminds me of how they treated Ron.

Except they actually do seem to be scared to vote for it on the record.

And I don't blame them. Going on the record voting for this much corporatist pork because of a non-emergency like this one could bite them all in the ass.

The Mantra of Abominations

"But...but...Donald Trump wants to clean out 'the Swamp!' He's just playing 3D Chess!"

Massie is quite possibly committing political suicide by doing this. He will not stop the bill and he will change very few minds. He is the only good Congressman in the House. I hope he knows what he is doing.

The Reckoning

Actually, what Rep. Massie is doing is brilliant. He's calling out all the so-called conservatives to account for their values by pushing them to vote for something which reveals that they're not truly conservatives.

I don't disagree. However, will his constituents find him brilliant at the ballot box?

So we are to believe...

Trump is team good guy trying to basically be Lincoln and keep the country from shattering (I understand this) while Massie is wrench throwing agent for royal death family. (I have a severe case of cognitive dissonance over that)

I'm going to have to form an opinion after all this smoke clears. These puzzle pieces don't fit together.

Massie's Constituents Know Him

How do you think Rep. Massie was able to get elected, in the first place? They know where his feet are standing.
