This will hurt McCain bad - maybe Paul can rebound?

If he said we need to destroy Christianity, what would happen? What about Judaism?

WHY IS IT OK TO WANT TO DESTROY ISLAM?

This will get no play on TV.

It never happened. It does not exist. And no, you cannot regurgitate the red pill.

thats crazy and disgusting.

Yes it is. But unfortunately, it is socially acceptable to hate a Muslim 6k miles away. It is encouraged. Not dissimilar to how it was OK to hate blacks for decades. I hardly know any Muslims, but it makes me sick that this kind of racism is so accepted.

this is awful. It wouldn't surprise if he rounds them up in internment camps like the Japanese Americans.

I have to live in the reality these fascists create

he's great on the federal reserve issue, thought he had common sense.
guess not.

He can just play the senility card.

"Huh, what are you talking about?"

That guy is a total douchebag. And I actually believe this will help McCain, rather than hurt him.

Did that idiot say "we get off on warfare?"

Parsley is insane, just like Hagee, and McCain is cozy with both of them- but no one will ever see this outside of Youtube and the Ron Paul forums. I think we can safely say Sean Hannity won't be picking this story up...

As an outside observer (who has operated a Christian TV Network) American Christians generally confuse America and God. The Patriotism gets into their theology. So while Islam may be an enemy of Christianity (or not) it is not an enemy of America.

Hagee, during the drive to invade Iraq, had his church singing military anthems. The seperation of church and state works both ways.

Keith Olberman (sp?) talked about it on his show. It's getting some airtime. :D

The problem is that a lot of the current brainwashed Republicans probably will think this is a good thing.

I think this will hurt McCain very slightly, if at all, in the Republican party as it now exists.

McCain spiritual advisor in hot water

Washington Post's Dana Milbank talks about Rod Parsley, a televangelist & pastor of World Harvest Church in Columbus, Ohio, who is another one of Sen. John McCain's spiritual advisors with a violent past.

Just a thought, maybe Obama should be addressing this when he gets airtime on the MSM.

I am so glad I follow no religion.

I hate Olbermann. They can't defend Obama, so he pretends he's a teenager and whines "But everybody else is doing it!"

The difference is clear, in that McCain wasn't a regular member of any of those churches for 20 years.

And God knows we have our whack jobs in the movement.

Maybe once the Dem's get a nominee they will pick it up and bring it to people's attention.... Probably wishful thinking.
