This is not making sense...

We were polling 8 - 10% Not 14%

14% was only in one poll, which was way out of line with all of the others.

The thing that really doesn't make sense though, despite the early stages of this ... is county by county we are averaging around 8%. How can we be doing this much worse than in IOWA??

New Hampshire has a lot of voters who rely on major farm subsidies. Also, they like old bald guys who lie. Even those that were respectable at one time, but fell from grace.

It looks just like the polls. I seem to be headed into conspiracy-land.

Welp Thomas Jefferson wouldn't get elected in this country either.
That's the thing though. Ron Paul CAN get elected now, in 2008. If 50% of Ron Paul supporters would have gotten off their asses and voted for him in Iowa, he would've won. Same in NH. Same in every other state. It's the APATHY and LAZYNESS of liberty and peace-loving honest Americans that's responsible for the mess that we're in.

WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!

DO NOT FREAK OUT.

God, you're gonna make us look bad in front of other message boards like Iowa night. Shut up, and keep praying.

Chris Matthews said that it's going to be a very big story and that he sees a scenario where Ron Paul overtakes Giuliani and will really put himself into the fight and take Rudy out in Florida... the CFR is saying it will happen.

How can CNN project a winner with only 12% counted?

You know they KNOW the outcome already.

The 14% poll wasn't even a poll.. it was a market thing, like intrade... either way lots of votes to count yet... just wait, please

Ron Paul simply hasn't been getting the media attention he needs, and when he does, it's some video of RP fans chasing Hannity while throwing snowballs at him or the reporter will ask him "You're polling really low in polls, why's that?" or "Everyone but your fans think you're crazy. Why?" "Will you run as an independent when - err if you lose nomination?"

Fox News has a "Delegates" ticker running that doesn't show Ron Paul's #, but shows Hunter's one candidate. I'm pretty sure we won 2 in Iowa, didn't we?

If we don't place in the top three spot for Michigan however, I think Paul loses his viability for nomination. The fact that it's McCain who's winning is just embarrassing. I thought this guy had Alzheimer's when he was speaking in the "Facebook" debate. We really need to do more street campaigning.

14% was Rasmussen which is considered a real phone poll but as was said it was only one poll.

stick to CNN.com... not much better, but 'eh'.

RP is only 200 behind Rudy Julie Annie.............And about 1,000 behind Huckleberry.
But about 10,000 behind McCain. 3rd or 4rth isn't going to get it guys.

It's still early. Lots of voted left to count.

And please don't start screaming voting machines. That makes us look like cry babies. Do that in court with proof. Not in public.

Because LESS THAN 10% of the PRECINCTS are reporting. Around 500,000 people voted- there are MANY MANY more votes to count. We know there are Paul strongholds and they aren't popping up on the map yet.

We are 100 votes behind Giuliani, 600 behind Huck with TENS OF THOUSANDS MORE votes to count.

We are doing fine!

+100

All the votes have not been tallied.
