ThanksNow that is kewl!!! Way to go, girl!

It's like this: they are listening to your ideas, giving you lip service to get you on board. The whole "we're open to new ideas, bring new people into the GOP, etc". Pretending to care what you have to say. Then when they find out you're a RP supporter, it's almost like they know you're past their brainwashing BS and seeing everything through transparent glass. So you're instantly considered a threat to their empire of propaganda?
Interestingly I never hid the fact that I was a RP supporter from the getgo in my experience with the local GOP. I was introduced way back then as being a RP supporter and though I did get some sideways glances and the admonition to "support McCain" these folks have readily accepted me. Even now some will refer to me by saying, "She likes Ron Paul but we still like her," but these folks realize what I'm about and in most cases they agree with me-- and thus Ron Paul. There will always be those people who can't (or refuse to) understand but my experience has shown me that there is a genuine desire to bring in new blood and revitalize the party-- if not everywhere, certainly here at the local and county level.
