Looks like Bunning came through for us again! I repeat, I'm SO GLAD I voted for him! GO KENTUCKY!!!! -Tyler
Senators Kay Bailey Hutchison and John Cornyn from Texas, which is as Republican as Republican can get, both voted "YES."

So what's the word on Vitter as someone from Louisiana. The reason I ask is that he seems like one of the good guys in the senate (one of the primary senators with Inhofe who were against the immigration bill as well as today) but was working for Rudy during the primaries.
ANd JOhn Cornyn is Chairman of the Senate CONSTITUTION Committee, NOW that INSULTING!
I have a decent opinion of Vitter, especially after this. I don't know if he understands the complexity of the banking system, but I have high hopes that he may take the time to listen. I guess, as with most of us, we can only hope that they make the right decisions.
ZOMG are you kidding me? Feingold is the most libertarian senator we have right now. He voted against the Iraq War, the Patriot Act, FISA, and now this bailout. He's like the Ron Paul of the senate. See here: http://freedomdemocrats.org/node/526
"Florida Senators Divided On Bailout"

October 1, 2008 - 10:51PM
Florida's senators were divided tonight. Democratic senator Bill Nelson voted "No" while Republican senator Mel Martinez voted "Yes" for the bill.

Yeah, it is his first good vote he's made...
We have to remember that just because they voted nay, doesn't mean they voted nay for the right reasons or have any clue what they are doing.
For instance:
Bernie "the socialist" Sanders voted Nay... and I still want to string him up.
Damnit Voinovich and Brown, where the fuck are ya
In amazement Sen Feinstein said (CNN quoted) that her office received 90K calls today and 80K were AGAINST !! But guess what she voted FOR the bill. WHY because she is above everyone else and knows what is good for us! imho
Here is the list.

Feinsteins' husband david blum is an investment banker. Think that had something to do with it? Bill Oreilly is FOR the bailout..guess why? He is LOSING money ....and he wants it STOPPPPED! T.
