Well, I sent the following to my state GOP party chairman yesterday -- to give him some food for thought:

One more video -- this is an example of what the Democrats will AIR. Know your enemy.

It is just using McCain's OWN statements to date. There's a long time yet until November, plenty of time for temper tantrums, misstatements, and all kinds of other things.

The Democrats -- whether Obama (who regardless of his idiotic socialistic message, KNOWS how to advertise and manipulate people's emotions) or Clinton -- they WILL be able to make some hay out of this guy -- the above is just an example done by an AMATEUR. Imagine that being played on national airwaves by MoveOn.org or some other Soro's backed organization.

And we're going to coronate him as our "crown prince" because he happened to win about 1/3 of the votes in BLUE states? And have to try to put thousands of hours in canvsasing and trying desperately to convince conservative voters to even show up on election day?

So who's more faithful to the Republic -- conservatives who stay home in protest? Or Ron Paul supporters who will at least show up to write his name in -- and in the meantime vote for Liberty-loving Republicans on that same ballot (especially our State Assemblymen and Senators -- the people who we desperately need to stop the Doyle insanity).

You know I also remember Bob Dole -- who used the GOP establishment because it was "his turn" as well -- that didn't do us any good either. McCain is, IMHO, even worse -- he's a liberal Bob Dole.

Keep in mind that EVERY CLIP of John McCain in that Democrat video is something he said THIS YEAR -- 2008, and we are only 1-1/2 months into the year -- we still have nearly 6 months before the GOP Convention, and a little over 8 months before the General Election.

HOW MANY MORE "SCREW-UPS" -- how much MORE ammunition is this ill-tempered, crazy, war-loving little man going to make between now and then.

McCain is NOT an asset to the Republican party -- he is a WALKING & TALKING LIABILITY that will sink the party (and afterwards, everyone that supports him) -- he is the epitome of the ammunition the Democrats need to obliterate the GOP. (Even "Hitlery" looks tame and "acceptable" to the general population by comparison.)

It isn't McCain's turn. It is Hillary Clinton's turn. That's why they are trying to shove this lame, lamentable fool with a closet full of skeletons down the G.O.P.'s throats.

By exposing him, we're doing the G.O.P. a favor that the RINO neocons don't want done.

OH, I agree... that is exactly what BushCo wants... It *may* even be what the RNC wants.

But I guarantee you it is not what many of the STATE GOP people want.
Keep in mind this is THEIR careers and THEIR jobs that are on the line as well.

Here in Wisconsin, our GOP is just 2 Assembly seat losses away from becoming a TOTAL minority party. (The Gov is Democrat, the Senate is Democrat, and this year, the Assembly may go Dem as well...)

If it reaches THAT much of a low point, then they may as well be the Green party or Libertarian party for all that it will matter what they try to do or stop the Dems from doing.

And IF that happens, there will be a LOT of blame being cast around, and a LOT of shuffling of chairs.

I would guess that the Clinton Camp is holding the best dirt on McCain.

Maybe just maybe, they will use some of it in the near future to alter the current polls. Obama beats McCain, but Hillary is in a tie. This might hurt her primary efforts if voters think she might lose in the general. If her minions would release some of that McCain truth dirt on the MSM, that might help her polls against him. Meanwhile, it would help the good Doctor.

This is exactly right. I was at a meeting last night with the Tate County Republican Party here in Mississippi. There is not much support or liking of McCain and what he stands for in the rank-and-file Republican Party, and that is one of our weapons to re-take it for the Constitutionalists.

When Christian Herter's name was being considered for a presidential run, it was pointed out that he was born in France (of American parents) and thus did not meet the Constitutional requirement.

The clear intent of the Constitution was to make sure we were not cursed with rulers from foreign lands, as Europe had suffered for hundreds of years. The law you cite clearly attempts to subvert the intent of the Constitution by changing the definition of "Natural Born". That may make the law unconstitutional if taken to the US Supreme Court. Certainly the State Department seems to be unaware of this, because children born to American parents overseas must file special paperwork to have the citizenship of their children recognized; a process parents inside the United States need not bother with.

In theory, under this law, two Arabs could emigrate to the United States while children, become naturalized citizens, marry, then return to their native land and bear a child, who is automatically a US citizen without ever having set foot inside the US, and under the letter of the above law you quote, eligible to be US President as long as he returns to the United States for 14 years prior to running for office. I do not believe that this was what the Founding Fathers had in mind. Or they would not have included the phrase "Natural born" in the Constitution.

Now, nobody is seriously thinking this will impact McCain, as government we currently suffer under does not obey the Constitution. But let us at least rub their noses in it.

There's no way Clinton does this. None. Right now, any dirt on McCain they hold they're keeping for their own benefit in the general election. This is why they're saying nice things about him now. The only way they release it before McCain gets the nomination is if Obama kicks her tail, and that would be a sour grapes move that could cost her her Senate seat and her career.

Yes. It is steganography. The telegraphing of a blow from one faction to another to let them know there is a sea change occurring they can't do diddly squat about. The Armed Forces are loyal to RP. They know what he stands for. Maybe the White Hats will release the 30 propaganda films that McCains controllers use to blackmail him into compliance. I'm not so sure that Hiliary throwing the "down and dirty" ball at McCain would be to her advantage. If she chose to play it, I have no doubt McCain or those who have a $$ stake in getting him elected have equal if not more subversive material to throw back at her. Good! They could knock each other out of the race on FACTS alone!
