There is no way McCain can win

Voting my concience isn't stupid. If you want someone who voted for the bailout, supports amnesty, ect... By all means vote for McCain

Vote your concience? sure I understand that and agree but this must be balanced with vote your brain. that is more important I think

McCain is just the fall guy to keep the Republican Party out of the hands of people who Really want change. They have never stood a chance in hell against either Hillary or Barack, actually Mitt Romney would have given a Barack a run for his money...but McCain?? He's just sad....the real players knew this was a lost election cycle because of the Bush damage...McCain the Maverick thought he could go against the tidal wave...and he bet double-or-nothing by picking Palin....guess what? he lost the bet.
I was shocked to see McCain come out on top as the Republican nominee in the first place...so many other better choices...

Hmmmm Ahh you are really Ms Cleo....

Tell me how you figure this...

You need to spend some time in bigger cities or at least near bigger cities. That is where the majority of the people live. We can obviously see that the majority is behind Obama and I can tell that it is because most of these people HATE bush because he is stupid, and if McCain gets elected some how they will be furious. Did you see McCain in the debates last night? Obama is dangerous, but McCain is a fucking retard like Bush, and people know he is going to be manipulated like Bush was. At least Obama has a head on his shoulders, even if he's wrong about a lot of things he acts somewhat intelligent. They won't care who is in the Republican primaries or who the indepdendent candidate is, because they will stop at nothing to get the Republicans out of office in 2012, that's what they are doing now.

Let them have it so they can screw it up for a change.

If Obama gets elected and the country gets messed up, then we have a good chance at convincing people in 2012 that we need less government. If McCain wins, then it will be easier to brainwash people into more government for the next election, after all, Bush and McCain are Republicans and they hate big government (even though we know that is BS...)

Ok, lets say I "use my brain" and vote for McCain. Then i am sending a message that I am ok with this Left leaning neocon being the Nominee of the party. I am also giving him a chance to actually become president. Which means when he fucks up the country almost as badly as Obama would by 2012, He will be running as an incumbent and will most likely have no challengers from the GOP side. Then we will be back at square one with our choice of John "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" McCain and some communist Demon-crat. Just my way of looking at it.

Well I happen to think that electing McCain is a bigger shot in the foot.

Ron Paul says that the Federal Reserve destroys the poor and middle class, the people on the bottom, right? I would rather give our tax money to those people (Obama) than spend it killing people, blowing up bridges overseas (McCain).. There is no way I could put killing people on my concious like that, but if you're ok with killing innocent people for a broader agenda than by all means vote McCain. Not that Obama is killer on foreign policy, so to speak, but he is someone who thinks for himself. McCain does not.

Oh, and I'm not voting for either. I would just prefer that "the people" elected Obama over McCain.

I'm not going to respond to you "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" democrat talking point but as far as sending a message i think Ted nuggent said it best on Glenn Beck. I don't think I can get it across as effectivly in text as it he did but he said basically hold your nose, vote mccain and then hold their feet to the fire...

Go to their offices (congressmen), ask what is happening to our money..
If tey don't havean answer say ok how bout you have an answer for me thursday.. and go back... hold them accountable.

Its so depressing that after all this time and after countless threads, and after everything Ron Paul has said over the past year, people on this forum still consider voting for either Obama or McCain. Wow. One step forward, two steps back...

To each his own.

Real simple.... I am NOT in lockstep with RP... I appreciate the man and what he has done exposing the information but I am not into Group Think...

Do whatever you want. If everything this movement has said and done has not been able to convince you to vote your conscience, then no amount of posts from me will be able to either.

As for 'Group Think' (if that is what you are accusing every Ron Paul supporter of doing when voting third party), then it is obvious you know little about this revolution.

Wrong I'm all for the revolution. People can look at evidence an come to the same conclusions. no problem with that. BUT

I have had too many discussions her and been railed at, cursed told to leave and calle a republican shill andcalled a troll for having a different opinion and alot of the arguments obviously came from group think which this movemet seems to have so much knowledge of.

I respect your decision. I'm just saddened by it.

Sometimes I think there is "battered voter syndrome." That's the only thing I can think of why people persist in supporting the demopublican 2-party state. I deserve to have the crap beat out of me.
