Howdy.

I love this ad, and I would like to run it in Florida Today, which is the local paper down here on the Space Cost. I can't afford USA today, but I can still reach a chunk of people down here in a swing state.

May I have your permission to duplicate this ad? May I have the original PSD files to edit the footer? Also, if I can't get a full-page ad, would it be acceptable if I edited it into a quarter-page or 1/8th page ad?

Advertising in smaller, local papers in cheaper than I thought. As a matter of fact, I suggest we all try and run a few ads from our local meet-up groups.

My thinking is this: most of the people who don't use the Internet are the ones still reading newspapers. This a great opportunity to reach new people- those not already familiar with the Ron Paul Internet phenomenon.

See also: http://zaphodforpresident.com/2007/11/20/ron-paul-call-to-action/ (100% ad-free).

If I am being presumptuous, please excuse me. I will be happy to design my own ad- however- I think this ad is GREAT.

If you are the creator(s) of this ad, please let me know what you think.

Viva le reEVOLtion!
Really nice offer and welcome if no one answers please ask again, all stuff off these boards is free to use, no copyright. let me know how your doing. Thanks..

Absolutely. This was an "open source" campaign development advertisement. It belongs to all of us on this Forum.

Kind of the way America is supposed to belong to all of us as citizens.

Thank you for the great offer!!! Go for it. If there is anything we can do to help we will.

Send me a PM and I will hook you up with the designer. To comply with Federal Laws (FEC) you need to put your name on the adv. you need to have a contact point , and you need to put the disclaimer that it was not supported by a candidate or the candidate's committee.

If the cost is over $2,300 or you have given over $2,300 in this cycle you need to file a form.

Mark on this forum has the details on that.

Good luck and thank you for supporting this great cause! We all salute you!

Hey, The Freedom message is popular......who knew?

You are a Patriot Larry...

Hello Larry,

Words cannot express my thanks to you and your family for doing this. This is truly inspiring and has restored my hope and knowledge that there are moral and ethical people out there that care about more than the pursuit of iPods, granite countertops, SUVs, and searching for the meaning of life at Disney.

I did a similar thing on Facebook (although not near the size and scope that you are doing) for the November 5th, 2007 event that just passed.

I cannot donate to Ron Paul's campaign. Why? I am Canadian. However, there is nothing to say that I cannot contribute to his campaign in other ways. So I paid out of pocket personally to run an ad on Facebook that targeted about 20 million Americans.

Canada needs Ron Paul. The world needs Ron Paul. His message will set the stage and light an example as to what freedom and liberty means. Canadians will sit up and take note (why do we need a Central bank - the Bank of Canada - and why do we need income tax - collected by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA?)), and finally begin to understand that inflation is a surreptitious and insidious tax.

If you are interested, you can click on this image to simulate what users on Facebook saw:

Thank you Larry,
-Patrick

Thank you for such prompt and encouraging replies. I will check this out further tonight after work. In the meantime, you bring up a good point- I've already maxed my personal donation limit. Am I allowed to buy an ad? Does that count as a "donation"?

This might sound insane, but how difficult is it to set up a PAC? Would the PAC be allowed to buy ads as "People for Ron Paul, LLC" or whatever? Would it hurt the campaign to purchase ads via PAC, even if all the members were just joe-shmoe members of local meet-up groups?

If anyone could point me in the right direction on this, I would appreciate it greatly.

P.S. Are these donations tax deductible? If not, why so many rules and regulations? How do the big guys do it?

P.P.S. I personally don't care if they are tax deductible or not. If Ron Paul wins, it becomes a moot point! Boo IRS! Yay Dr. Paul!

PM Lord Xar on this forum. He can tell you about how to set up a PAC.

If you do it personally you can avoid the PAC issue.

A couple of points, first, PAC donations are limited to $5,000 or $10,000 per person. Lord Xar will know the details.

My advice? Just pay for it and disclose it.

Good luck. LWL

just heard on the news that today is officially the biggest travel day for Americans...EVER! (yes...the biggest in HISTORY!!) What great timing!

just our luck in the mtns, they havent delivered any usa todays at all. i'm not sure why ,since we havent got that much snow and i have seen them deliver theusa today thru blizzard, wondering if the delivery people for the mtns are rudy or romney fans,no one in central co mtn near eagle/summit or lake have received any papers. I called so we will see if they fix this major problem for the co mtns

Thanks for helping out gilliganscorner. I hadn't heard about that Facebook ad.

Let's hope all of these ads build up support. The quicker the better.

It was my privilege to help, user.

Never in my entire life have I ever been so passionate about a man and his message.

Dr. Paul cured me of my apathy.

MSM report

I wonder if Mainstream Media (MSM) will report that Larry forked over that kind of money to support his candidate.

Nope. Britney must have broken a fingernail ;)

I just saw the ad in USA Today. It looks great and is in a good spot. Section 2 Page 3.
