The TRULY ***Official*** 2024 Election Season thread

Are they done with their cheating already??? I was really looking forward to a long and entertaining Election Season

Kinda disappointed not gonna lie.

Back in July, I said:
If they're throwing in the towel, it'll be Kamala. (which, at this point, they may do)

If they really think they can still make a Democratic victory plausible, it'll be Michelle.

If it's Kamala, that's the sign that they're forfeiting the Presidency, but they're trying to shore up down ballot.
If it's Michelle, that's the sign that they're going to steal another election.

Harris took the fall for the Democratic party. They lost the Senate, but they may still win the House.

I don't think they will take the house. The last I heard the GOP only needs 20 seats and there were 60 in play. Only need 1/3 of them.

Yeah, remains to be seen. If the republicans get all 3 branches and the SCOTUS, things could get really, really interesting! Add to that, the corporate press is in their death thralls...

If that happens, here's a prediction: Some establishment GOP reps will loudly switch sides to throw the House back to the Dems after a few months.

The question for me is how will it affect spending. Every time either party gets control of all 3 branches the very first thing they do is sign a massive "wish list" spending bill. Will trump listen to guys like elon musk who warned that the debt is close to bankrupting us? I think we'll find out right away.

Wouldn't surprise me if they assassinate him and then claim how terrible it was that it happened to such a great guy. How he was going to change the course of the country.

Trump will get super secret service protection being the president elect, especially after being the target and a bullet nicked his ear.

Not to "troll", but I was thinking "Revenge of the Sith".

I take it you didn't bother to read any of his policies. Mises.org wrote about a couple/few of them.

NEW: A depressed Letitia James declares she is a "guardian of the law," tells New Yorkers not to be scared about Donald Trump being president.

Lmao. I'm so ready for these next four years.

James said she has a "contingency plan" in response to Trump winning the election.

"So here we are. We’ve studied their platforms. We’ve identified certain possibilities... We’ve created contingency plans."

"So no matter what the next administration throws at us, we are ready. We are ready to respond to their attacks."

"This is not the time to be fearful, New York. But faithful. And steadfast. Knowing that I as the attorney general, along with my entire team, we are guardians of the law. And we are prepared, my friends, to fight back."

Word on the street is that the transition team will be led by Pompeo appointee Brian Hook.

This guy was an Iran hardliner. He was appointed by Pompeo to direct the policy of "Maximum Pressure" against Iran.

No doubt involved in the assassination plot of Soleimani.

We're off to a great start. Can't wait to see what's next.

Who knows until it *actually* happens, but I heard the same thing.

Brian Hook founded Latitude, LLC, an international consulting firm based in Washington, DC. He serves on the advisory board of Beacon Global Strategies.

Beacon Global Strategies specializes in matters of international policy, foreign affairs, national defense, cyber, intelligence, and homeland security.

The Trump transition is formally being led by former Trump Small Business Administration chief Linda McMahon

The policy preparations have been far lower profile — by design, given the backlash the conservative Heritage Foundation attracted for its Project 2025 blueprint for a second Trump administration. But behind the scenes, the Trump transition is leaning on a diffuse roster of former Trump administration officials, according to conversations with 16 people familiar with Trump transition planning, who were granted anonymity to discuss confidential discussions.

A small sample include:

U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, who is crafting trade and economic plans, along with Jamieson Greer, Lighthizer’s former chief of staff.
Special envoy for Iran Brian Hook, who is involved with preparing a Trump State Department.
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, who is involved with national security personnel and policy planning.
Office of Management and Budget general counsel Mark Paoletta, who is helping craft the policy playbook for the Justice Department.
Interior Secretary David Bernhardt is joining the transition planning process, according to two people aware of his plans.

Trump just keeps beating women.
I'm sure there's plenty of leftists online that said Trump's only capable of beating woman, but couldn't beat a man and that same man would have beaten Trump again if he decided to stay in the race.
