The Superbowl has been CANCELED!!

I go surfing cause the waves are usually good this time of year and most breaks are pretty empty :D
 
What is this guy talking about? People enjoy watching competition - it's entertainment.

As far as being cancelled the Superbowl will get 100 million viewers for four hours. This guys 4 minute rant has 300 views.

Last time I checked enjoying a sporting event and educating yourself about topics such as the Federal Reserve aren't mutually exclusive. You can love liberty and football.

Definitely not the point imo.

I don't see our societies' fascination with national level sports as any better/worse than American Idol or any other distractions from reality.

Yeah, you're right... his appeal to emotion really awoke the liberty lover in me, a diehard football fan. /sarcasm

I really don't like this guy he is too much of a drama queen. How often does Superbowl happen? 1 day a year?? He couldn't find something else to bitch about?

Plus I don't even know if I agree with him completely. I wonder how much faster socialist propaganda would spread if we had more interested in politics. I would say a lot of resistance against socialism in this country we take for granted. A lot of it simply people who like their lives (even if they are less free) and could care less for "change".

I think the real solution is going to come not from us belittling something people love but bringing to them understanding of how statist policies effect their well being.
