"The Religious Right is AWOL From the Real War" by Dr. Chuck Baldwin

Working Poor, you are most welcome, however I am confused as to why you are thanking me? The words I have written are not my own, they truly are the words of Christ. He is the hope for us all! May we all come to understand the power and magnitude of his sacrifice and the purpose of his life. When we do, wars will cease!

I have Theocrat's response in my inbox:

You've read works by Gary North and R.J. Rushdoony? That's surprising, yet refreshing. At least you understand where I'm coming from. Christian theocracy is bigger than just one nation; it seeks to take dominion over the whole world! It will, too, someday, though not in my lifetime. That's why we Christians are having so many kids compared to the liberals, humanists, agnostics, etc. because our posterity will carry Christian theocracy on to infinity. There's nothing that can be done to stop it, either, my friend. It came to fruition when the Puritans first arrived here in the 1600s, and it will continue to mature until all things are under Christ's feet. The end of tyranny from relativistic, secular "atheism" will come to pass. I will fight diligently to see "atheism" bleed to death, choking in its own blood, and I will stomp it right in its head until its blood is splattered all over my "garments". That's the war against terror that I fight in. So, just know that the next time you see one of my posts that my fight is against every thought and philosophy which is against those ends, but not the people who espouse those thoughts and philosophies. I'd just thought you should know.

That dude needs a lobotomy. Every bit as dangerous a line of thought as Maoism or Marxist-Leninism

IRO-bot, thanks for the compliment, but I don't have the same wish. I wish no one would be like me and everyone would be like Christ. Now that's the ticket. But, truthfully thank you.

I do hope people will read the words here, because just maybe it will help someone understand my saviour better. Maybe it will help them turn away from any other way.

^^ Theocrat did you hear that? Read her posts!!!!

IRO-bot,

I have truly found a way that, is beyond anything I could have thought or imaged. I feel so overwhelmed sometimes, that I have been allowed the opportunity to experience these things. The things I write are not thoughts or ideas, they are true experiences that I have had in my life. The more I experience, the more humbled I am at the opportunity to know this truth and the joy and peace, that it brings.

If it were within my power, I would dog tie and drag people to these experiences, but I have no power and am fully awake to know that force has “NO AFFECT”, to draw people. So, I pray and hope, that God might somehow use these words to reveal himself to others.

I pray that I can continue lifting him up in my life and that I can continue on this path with expediency. There is a truth that sets men free and I have found it!

It amazes me, as I am fully aware I did not earn it or deserve it. Man, it just blows me away!

I like you. I hope you stick around these forums. Don't let the fake believers and the non believers who attack you get to you. People will be drawn to how you approach things because it is non-aggresive. I see people on here who I feel would like to force people into believing or to kill them, (you must believe my way or die). There are other who are as equally as nasty about not believing. I enjoy people who say, let's just live together in peace and love.

As belligerent as a non-believer as I am, I am not going to ever be attacking someone like this new cat... I too like her/him.

IRO-bot and Kade,
Here is a story for you:

The word of God is like a loaded gun. That gun in the hands of a child can be very dangerous, even deadly. Wisdom would be that you never give a child a loaded gun. Wait till they grow up and them give them instructions on how to use the gun.

Where the problem is in the religious world, there are a whole lot of babies walking around with loaded guns. They have been given no instructions, as to the wisdom on how to use guns, because religious leaders have not sought God and his wisdom and his ways, so that they might be fully effective to teach the babies. Jesus said the religious leaders are blind, leaders of the blind and they all fall into the ditch.

When one does try to temporarily take the loaded gun away from the babies, until they are able to be instructed in wisdom, the babies kick and scream, for their toy to be given back.

The problem is it is not a toy, it’s a loaded gun. It is deadly without wisdom.

God is calling his church to grow up and learn wisdom. But, the church doesn’t want that, they want to continue in what they think they know. They are blind and disobedient. It is because of this blind, disobedience that the church is being judged. Not only is God raising up a fire against them, but the whole world is standing in judgment, of them.

Through my writings, I have tried to convey to the church the message of wisdom. Yet, they will not hear me, because they do not hear the one that taught me. They continue to use the word of God as a weapon against others, as they spew God’s words out like so much undigested meat. And it is sickening and it is repulsive, as they force others to eat what they have thrown up. They force their will and force their way and forget that love does not seek its own will. They use no wisdom as they walk around as babies, with loaded guns in their hands. God help anyone who gets in their way. And they slaughter the prophets and the teachers who are sent to them.

Ps. to Kade, oh that you might one day come to know the things that I have written here. God bless and keep you my friend. (By the way, I am a HER!)

Ps. IRO-bot, do not mistake that I do not agree with the scriptures that Theocrat brings. I do most definitely believe that all men need to come to repentence of their sins, so that they might have life. But, I have learned that it is not the message that repels people, it is the messenger. The message if delivered in widom, most definitely helps people to see how much they stand in need, of the beautful gift that only Christ can give. I have learned I can not force others to take this most gracious gift, I can only tell them about it. I hope that in that I can be extremely effective. The very one, who I speak about, is the very one who has taught me of him and his wisdom to teach others. My prayer is that he might find me worthy, to be called his disciple. My prayer is: if there is sin to be found, let me find it in my own heart, before I look for it in another's.

I had an odd feeling you are a women. A hunch, or perhaps the gentleness of your words, it is very soothing. While I myself am not much of a believer (my own views are uh...complex to say the least), I am happy to know you are out there spreading a great message of love and forgiveness. I wish you luck in all you do and I for one am very happy to hear your message.

Seriously, I felt from the first post that she was a woman. *shrugs*.

You are welcome sir!

I never liked the term religious right. How did these people gain so much power? I don't think Jesus would want that kind of power. The hypocracy of these people.

I think Chuck is a great example of what a "religious right" should be. As is Ron. Humble, loving, and honest.

um ok. I'm voting for Bob Barr though :)

If libertarians are going to vote for a flawed libertarian, they should vote for the Libertarian one. (Bob Barr.) The Constitution Party is a distraction; the LP remains and will remain the best vehicle for electoral advances toward liberty.

I am voting for Bob Barr as well. I respect Chuck and all he was done for the revolution. I merely meant that as both Ron and Chuck are both very religious they don't force beliefs down the throats of other like the Religious Right does you know.

Yup. I agree.

COMMONWEALTH CLUB SPEAKER ARCHIVE Recorded Jul 11 2006 An Evangelical's Lament on Politicized Religion RANDALL BALMER http://www.commonwealthclub.org/archive/06/06-07balmer-audio.html

Randall Balmer "Thy Kingdom Come" 7/30/2006 Randall Balmer is an evangelical Christian. He is also a liberal, and a Democrat. And he deplores the way the religious right has, as he puts it, "hijacked" his faith for their own political purposes. Balmer, the editor-at-large for Christianity Today, makes an impassioned call for a return to the true evangelical principles of his faith in his book "Thy Kingdom Come." http://www.podfeed.net/podcast/Eye+on+Books+BOOKCAST/1353

Hope, I enjoy your posts quite a bit too. I don't read and post as much as I have. I've been pretty sick and depressed. If I wasn't a Christian, I would have offed myself. Because as a Christian I can look to the Lord when the chaos hits. I've had many bumps in my life and he's ALWAYS gotten me through.
