The Political Quiz Test

Your result for The Politics Test ...
Radical Libertarian

You scored 85% Personal Liberty and 89% Economic Liberty!

Some of the questions are a bit confusing (and lots of typos!). Oh well!

Radical! 95/95. i didn't like the question about dueling nor the question about rights coming from the constitution.... if that's what put me at 95/95, i think their scoring is wrong.

too f@cking long though. i thought i'd be done in two minutes.

Then you'd probably just complain that it was too short.

A radical libertarian believes in little to no government intervention for both personal and economic matters. A radical libertarian generally believes in one out of these two options: (1) A government that is extremely small and limited to the extent of protecting people's liberty - this view is known as Minarchism (2) No government at all, in which the private sector takes up all legitimate functions that a government would have - this view is known as Anarcho-Capitalism. Radical Libertarians tend to be strongly opposed to war, police powers, victimless crimes, foreign intervention and what they consider to be a welfare state. Radical Libertarians tend to be inspired by the Austrian school of economics, classical liberalism and 19th century individualist anarchism. Libertarian thought is individualist in nature. They try to protect both personal and economic liberty. Examples of Radical Libertarianism would be Murray Rothbard, H.L. Mencken, Ludwig Von Mises and Lysander Spooner. "

Wow... I didn't realize I would be considered a "radical libertarian". But then again... I do believe in virtually NO economic itnervention from govt, and virtually to absolutely NO intervention in personal affairs.

I am also by no means an anarcho-capitalist... I don't think we should privatize fire/police and the like, and believe in some fundamental/basic labor laws. Otherwise, let the market take care of everything else!

Why was it so difficult? Anything less than that is not self ownership. If you do not own yourself, you are a slave, although for this example to a much less extent than other forms. People should be able to do whatever they want to long as they do not infringe on the rights of others.
If you really think about it - if two people *REALLY* want to "duel", they are gonna fuckin' do it whether there is a law against it or not.

Much like most other issues.

In the end, you're definitely right about the self-ownership part.

"You scored 93% Personal Liberty and 99% Economic Liberty!"

The quiz is bullshit. The only reason I did not get 100% is because free speech is not a right in my oppinion. All rights are property rights. I can not go in your house start cussing at you and declare free speach when you try to remove me.

the quiz is BULLSHIT! I am 100% Liberty bitches.

Nobody has beat the 98% Personal Liberty marker yet...

I prefer to be there, than higher on the economic side... honestly.

Is this the World's Smallest Political Quiz? My firewall at work has me blocked from the site (no "Games" sites...blargh!). Luckily, if this IS the same quiz, I took this awhile ago and my results were: 70% personal and 90% economic.

Edit: Okay, just took that quiz again and scored 100% on both. Guess my personal beliefs shifted slightly in the past year or so.

I scored 69% Personal Freedom and 88% Economic Freedom, Right Libertarian.

That's about right, although I have a problem with the "rights are granted by the Constitution" question.

Right ARE NOT granted by the Constitution. Rights are granted by God, the Constitution provides those natural rights will not be taken by government.

*cough*. I responded "no" to that question, and it was apparently the right response. You have a problem with it because you didn't think about it. Also, I don't exactly like the little absolute you shoved in there regarding a god.

There was another trick question, involving your right to enforce your beliefs on another.. I responded that you did. I think those two were why I got 100% better over my peers on personal liberty... maybe the creator of the quiz wasn't an idiot.

No, I responded that I didn't agree with that statement either.

And, how do you know how I responded on the question about enforcing my beliefs on another?

Maybe your Declaration of Independence doesn't have the words "endowed by their Creator" in it? Sorry, I'm a Christian, therefore I interpret that to mean God.

You have the right to believe anything you want to believe. I'm not going to argue with you.
