--> the Official *Revolution March on D.C.* Thread <--

July 4th would be so good though. Would definitely give the right effect.

I agree that July 4th is fitting, and it is a date being considered. But there are a lot of factors that need also to be considered, it is hot in July in D.C. it is during the middle of the week which makes it difficult for working people who are flying in. Plus, we are considering inviting the congressmen and women who co-sponsored HCR40 - there are 44 of them. HCR40 is a resolution to stop the NAU. Anyway, it is likely that Congress won't be in session then so it will be next to impossible to get any of them to speak at the event, they'll be home with their families. Without them, it will be difficult to garner any media attention, I don't care HOW many people show up. We already know the media hates us.

Many people will already be there on the Th of July - it may dilute our impact and our message may not be clearly interpreted -- another date it will be only us

Not July 4. The usual festivities will dilute the march.

Ideally after school is out, June or July.

Ron said it must be sooner than 6 months. BEFORE the convention to get media showings. We need to do this NOT on a holiday. Some time between now and june
