The debates had like 3x more viewers, now that its the Trump show, you get less then Romney numbers. This is exactly how the general election will play out.

FLASH: 30 million watched Trump speech on major TV networks. Slightly less than Romney in 2012.

But the Trump Trolls said that this would be the most watched GOP convention ever!!!

It's the age of streaming. You bad.

What changed since the 2016 RNC debates and now? IF the 2016 debates had 3x more viewers then the 2011 debates.

You can't compare debates to Convention. Also this Convention was much bigger than the last one. Everyday felt like the whole 2012 Convention. That will get a lot of people burned out.

Where are these so called posts "begging for a police state" and supporting "authoritarian philosophies"?

Trump supports every aspect of the existing police-state, from indefinite detention to warrantless searches to torture.

He proposed that Snowden be executed for revealing the criminal behavior of the NSA.

That is what you are endorsing when you promote Trump.

So he is not different from what we have now in that regard.

He is however fantastic on other issues. Bringing back business, getting money out of politics, not entertaining BLM/occupy and other lefty angst ridden organizations, breaking Democrats importation plans, ending confrontational approach to Russia and China.

The lack of response from kahless says much.

This is how the Trump people have been conducting themselves all year. They retort you with a statement entirely incorrect and filled with accusations. Once responded to with verifiable facts, they vanish. Only to reappear in another thread with the same act. It's like whack-a-mole.

A Trump supporter being intellectually dishonest?

...nah, can't be, I'm sure he just forgot to respond.

Here, I'll repost it for his benefit:

Yes, be skurred, be vury skurred...

Crime Wave!

Anarchy in the streets!

Quick, vote for that guy, he'll save us!

....and keep taxing us, and regulating us, and otherwise fucking us in the same way as all his predecessors.

But at least we'll be safe.
^cherry picking old data.

Homicide Rates Jump in Many Major U.S. Cities, New Data Shows
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/14/us/murder-rates-cities-fbi.html
The chart I posted ends in 2010.

The violent crime rate dropped again in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.

https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/

The data for 2015 hasn't been publisher yet.

As for your link, more violence in some cities does not = more violence overall, obviously.

Who's cherry-picking?

So he is not different from what we have now in that regard.

Actually he's worse.

In addition to maintaining the existing police-state, he wants to use more torture and build some kind of national database of Muslim citizens.

He is however fantastic on other issues.

Bringing back business

How?

getting money out of politics

How?

not entertaining BLM/occupy and other lefty angst ridden organizations

Culture war nonsense, doesn't matter.

breaking Democrats importation plans

Translation: deport 10 million people at a cost of mass rioting and hundreds of billions of dollars, only to let them all back in legally (touchback).

ending confrontational approach to Russia and China.

Yea, a 45% tax on Chinese imports won't strain relations or nuttin....

Trump has met his match because it doesn't work against the Clintons either. That's why this entire convention (with the possible exception of Peter Thiel) was a waste. The GOP needs to be the party of ideas if they truly want to win. Because now they are the party of "not Hillary", and they prove the GOP is laughingstock the press says they are.

Hillary is disgusting though. That really should get Trump the win.

Trump will probably suck.
I'm now planning on voting for Trump.
Hillary makes me ill. 24 years of her. Just make it stop.

Ask him who he's voting for. If he replies, post it here.
i don't think he's voting for Hillary. I looked thru his recent tweets and he doesn't seem to like her. He was a bernie supporter, now he's bitter.

Any of the other 16 GOP candidates would have higher favorability than Clinton, and she would be the least favorable major party nominee in US history. The GOP managed to nominate the 1 candidate who could beat that record:

Give ma a chance to actually read the posts here, I cannot be here 24/7 like some of you.

@r3volution 3.0

Nationwide it has dropped depending on the statistic you are looking at. However Trump was accurate when he talked about a year-over-year increase in homicides in the nation’s 50 largest cities; and the homicide rates in Washington, Baltimore and Chicago.

You're cherry-picking data to confirm your belief that there's some kind of crime wave (from which only Papa Trump can save us, of course).

The fact is that crime rates are at/near all time lows, multi-century lows actually.

Any candidate selling the law and order narrative is a liar and any voter who buys it a fool.

Again, nationally dependent on the stat, but not in certain inner-cities which show minorities are worse off economically and in crime stats.

My interpretation of a large part of his comments on law enforcement had to do with illegals and border security which is fine. I thought when he did bring up the issue of cops being killed it would have better to have taken time to address both sides of the law enforcement issue. I do not have a problem with his pro-police comments but thought he should have balanced it out without any mention of BLM.

Their campaign research may have proven going the route they went may keep people off the fence. It certainly locks up the law enforcement vote, their families and those sympathetic to them.

and any voter who buys it a fool.

Most of them are. The Hillary camp is certainly is banking on it and no doubt going this route is Trump's attempt to do the same.

Maybe. I don't think that Hillary can do much of anything to change perceptions of her. i'd think that Trump's numbers could move all over the place. Trump's favorability has changed since March-April. The media was filling the airwaves with so much information that people really didn't want to really take the time to process. My position on Trump has changed since March-April, and for the better. Oh, so it definitely will be Hillary? I guess I kinda like Trump maybe a little bit maybe. Enough to not vote for Hillary. But when it was Hillary v Bernie and Trump v whoever else, I was just generally dissatisfied across the board. Still am, but the context is different. The threat of Hillary is real.
