The Official Iowa Caucus Thread

In the past, some states have attempted to jump to the front of the calendar, mostly unsuccessfully. To prevent them from doing so, the DNC and RNC have penalized those that try to mess with primary timing.

After this year, they may not be willing to defend Iowa going first.

State Democrat officials are admitting that they flubbed the update in results from Monday’s farcical Iowa caucus that they released to the public earlier on Wednesday.
The newest results were released on Wednesday afternoon and showed South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg maintaining his narrow delegate lead over Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders with 75 percent of counties reporting. Democrats are insisting that only a “minor correction” is needed, but they have not yet explained what that correction will entail.
“There will be a minor correction to the last batch of results and we will be pushing an update momentarily,” the party wrote in a tweet.

Warren just canceled $350,000 of TV ads in Nevada and South Carolina
Bernie Sanders has reportedly floated the idea of giving her a combined VP/Treasury Secretary role
Both are the most far-left candidates
Doesn't take an Einstein to figure out where this is likely headed https://t.co/1U6RJvyI6T

They should give back the money they get in states that have taxpayer funded primaries then. Both major parties get huge subsidies from taxpayers to assist in carrying out the selection process for candidates so for them to hide behind the 'private organization' label is laughable.

This is a great fucking point and I think the lawsuit mentioned contributions but in a different context, that people were being bamboozled.

You like how they reported 60 % and left it there for a day with Buttleg on top leading by 5% or so? Next day 70 % and Bernie basically made up all the difference. Next day 90 % again Bernie gets the difference with less than 1% difference. Currently 99% reporting and there is .1% difference.

Three days with Busttanut seen leading when he really wasn't.

Now they want a redo:

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez on Thursday called for a recanvass in Iowa following chaos and delayed results during the state’s Democratic caucuses earlier this week.
“Enough is enough. In light of the problems that have emerged in the implementation of the delegate selection plan and in order to assure public confidence in the results, I am calling on the Iowa Democratic Party to immediately begin a recanvass,” Perez tweeted early Thursday afternoon.
A recanvass is a review of the worksheets from each caucus site to ensure accuracy.

The IDP will continue to report results.

I so hope they rob Bernie at the convention. The commies are threatening to burn it down if so and I bet there’s a hoard of people willing to gofundme that shit.

Peace out!
