The OFFICIAL Inaugural Support and/or Protest March Thread

NBC: Obama goodbye speech -a remarkable split screen moment...

Lestor ditched Obama goodbye to listen to Trump. Poor Lestor.

Lestor doesn't know the Trump grandchildren.. lol

Obama legacy going to be erased with those damn government pens!

Help me out here ladies: everybody is freaking out over this outfit.
Can you tell me what's wrong?

I saw some blurb about "Why's she dressed like Paddington bear!" (Paddington bear wears a red hat & blue coat.) Childishly petty, but the left has to find something to bitch about. Surely it's too much red, white and blue for these people, too.

Charles krauthammer just said Trump's inaugural speech was "hostile" - going on and on. He hate's the whole America first thing.

Obama is having a hard time listening to this.

Yes. When the words "Islamic Terrorism" came out of DJT's mouth, he washed away part of Obama's legacy 10 minutes after being sworn into the position. If you rewatch it (CNN broadcast), Obama is on screen as the words come out of DJT's mouth and he is stone faced and looking unimpressed.

The crowd cheers at the thought of stopping terrorism, naming the source (Islamic terror/ISIS) and most people are smiling at that thought.

Obama was thinking "God damnit I just spent 8 years refusing the say the words ISLAMIC TERROR or acknowledging it's existence and this guy just burnt that to the ground and they love it."

Chuck Schumer is a jerk. Turned down a pen used to sign cabinet confirmation because it was Betsy DeVos. Grow up Senator. Just say, "Thank you, Mr. President."

Meanwhile in Europe.

Honest question: why do the homosexuals so loudly petition to import thousands and thousands of people that, in their native countries, would kill them?

Survey: 28 Percent of Federal Workers May Quit Their Jobs Once Trump Assumes Office

Some federal government employees are considering leaving their jobs when President-elect Trump assumes office, according to a new survey.

“More than one in four federal workers, or 28 percent, will definitely or possibly consider leaving their jobs after Jan. 20 when Trump is sworn into office and becomes leader of the executive branch,” according to the survey conducted by the Government Business Council and Government Executive, both groups that track trends in government.

Half of those surveyed said that Trump’s business experience would “hinder his management of the federal government” while two-thirds of people think Trump’s business relationships pose a conflict of interest.

Half of those who said they were leaving are retirement-eligible and have considered an early retirement, while 37 percent of people would look for a job outside federal government, the analysis said.

Only one percent of respondents said they would quit without having a plan for their next move, while an additional 12 percent of people said they were unsure of what they would do.

A survey by the same groups taken before the election showed that 35 percent of government workers would consider quitting their jobs if Trump won the election.

Yeah, they'll say anything in a survey...

Having known quite a few government ticks, the last thing they will do is unlatch from the teat. They may retire and collect a pension (at 40), but there ain't no way they'll ever quit!

Like the celebrities that promised to move out of the country...

All References to ‘Climate Change’ Deleted From White House Website at Noon Today

http://www.climatedepot.com/2017/01...leted-from-white-house-website-at-noon-today/

'At 11:59 am eastern, the official White House website had a lengthy information page about the threat of climate change and the steps the federal government had taken to fight it. At noon, at the instant Donald Trump took office, the page was gone, as well as any mention of climate change or global warming.'

Besides it's ugly? She looks like she wants to march with the band.
It would look better if the coat were entirely blue - a darker blue - and the hat had a dark blue hatband to tie it together.

This looks like she had it custom made and she told them "make it resemble a revolutionary soldier's coat" - possibly she feels it's an analogy for the work she's done/will do?

I have a classic black wool coat like that which I bought back in the 80's - only it has more buttons. More buttons = much cooler! Still wear it sometimes. Will probably never get rid of it even though it has a lot of worn spots, cigarette burns and the lining is shredded. Have never been able to find another one like it for under, like 6 or 7 hundred dollars.

MSNBC showing crowd getting loud on some side-street (to parade) - throwing things, breaking windows, sounded like a bunch of fire-crackers(?) Some asshole pounding a drum. Cops trying to corral them, using pepper spray.
