The Need to utilize Covert Cameras



I remember reading about cheap key fob cameras everyone was using in their planes and balloons (Or Blimps???) because they were cheap and light. I think I checked it out after seeing some kids curvature of the earth video he made with a balloon.

Hidden cameras might give us good videos of the establishment officers/committees doing even more atrocious things. Potential gold mine.
 
Ideally, we'll get it to the point where they just assume they are being filmed and become somewhat more reluctant to engage in shenanigans.

After the video is made, you can post the footage anonymously so that you don't get singled out for retribution by those whose actions you caught.

Understand that this may be illegal in same states, but this is a form of civil disobedience that I fully endorse to keep the corrupt at bay. It's time to turn the tools of big brother against our leaders. Use them when you can, cuz you know they will always use them on you. And it is my contention that if the state has the right to record your actions and use them against you, then you have the same right when they themselves break the law and rules.

At $100, that product is too expensive. And I disagree with the statement that they are never going to let us clearly record anything.

A good video camera will give you better footage than what you have there. In many if not most cases, you might want to have great footage. So, if you have that, bring that. Many people have camera phones. bring them.

But, YES, we DEFINITELY should have cameras that are roughly similar to what you show. A 480P 808 carkey costs about $10. #3 is best. The #11 and #16 808 carkeys are 720p. There's no way to tell when those cameras are on.

I happen to prefer the "gum" camera, same price, and it has a flashing light, which makes it more stealth, but I have found it reassuring to see the blinking red light, and know that it's now recording. It's also easier to tape the gum camera to walls.

It's a little bit more tricky to work with the carkey form. I've found that the ceiling, and the woodwork over doorways is a good place for the carkey.

well, in cases where video recording is permissible, take the camera. But if they ban it, then the covert stuff is the backup plan. ya?

Way too expensive.

All of these things are less than $100 on Ebay. I have about 10 different ones. They're all fine. The specs on the camera in the hat are the same as the $10 one - the 480P.

There are carkey, gum, pen, sunglasses, watches.

Yeah, or, there should be a wide variety of devices in the hands of ron paul supporters at any given caucus. People with phones with video cameras should bring them and use them. People with excellent dslrs or point and shoots that can do 1080p should bring them and use them. But, in order to fill in the gaps, the stealthy cameras should be obtained.
 
I'd also say that we probably shouldn't all buy the exact same stealthy camera. Is the GOP going to look at every pen to determine whether it's actually a camera? every watch to determine whether it's a camera. The GOP really should recognize that its futile to keep people from videoing everything - because video cameras are on most phones and most people have phones. If there's 1000 people, 100 are going to have video cameras without even thinking about bringing a camera.

720P pen camera for $13.50. The pen works, and it comes with 4 gigs of storage built in. I got a 720p pen camera a while back, the video wasn't as good as the 720P carkey 808 #11, but the pen did work. this is "no interpolation" which unless they're lying, means that they're not upscaling to 720P from 480P

The 808 #3 is the best audio. they're all mono. The #3 is 16 bit / 22 khz wav. Most of the other ones, if not all, have lower bitrate audio.

I just bought the 720p pen w/ 4g for $13.49
 
Unacceptable, there is no reason why "cameras not allowed" should be enough to completely bring proceedings to an end, especially what we know now. Everyone should have a freaking camera and with backups.
 
yea, i have one of the pen cameras...video is like a cellphone from about 3yrs ago...i don't remember about the sound...gonna have to do another check..maybe the newer ones are better?? dunno...

Let them know what we are doing because we aren't doing anything except what we say we are.

They are the ones lying and deceiving, not us.

Every time you go to a meeting record it. Every time. Publically, if it's allowed, privately otherwise. Every time.

The problem with the phones is that many cant really record for more than a few minutes. Many lower end phones quit after 2 minutes. Also, if you are going to compare apples to apples, here's a similar device on ebay. 80 bucks less, but still "pricey" (resolution is only *slightly less* at 640x480 instead of 720x480).

This is one of the best ideas I've heard on here in awhile. So many are so blatant about everything, there is something to be said about stealth.
