6 Reasons for No Global mark in every nation (the mark can be escaped!)
1. Why a need for Armageddon if all nations are already submitted to the beast and it's mark?

2. He causes ALL to receive the mark, but that is ALL under the Image of the Beast and no where does it say the Image of the beast is global in Revelation 13.

3. The two horns give power to the likeness (image) of the beast who enforces the mark. By direct from heaven prophecy, the two horns are russia and china who then take the EU, which will be the image of the beast. We must rely on Heaven's revelation of these things to come, not our own analysis.

4. The beast would go after middle east oil before going after poorer countries, like in africa and south america, and coming to the middle east would be armageddon, proving some nations will not be under its control by the return of Christ.

5. The war torn post WW3 US, will not submit to a mark of the beast; too many christians here, against it, but europe, russia and china are very atheistic, so geopolitcal reality of today bares witness.

6. Rev 13:7 and 8, where it says the beast has power over all nations, that is the beast with 7 heads, and the chapter hasn't even come to the beast with two horns yet, so that cannot be used for a global mark. + it was in a general sense, not in a literal sense (rev 13:7,8) for instance, the roman empire, the 6th head of the beast, never ruled china or india or russia peoples. Roman empire had power over them all, but not in a literal sense; power greater than they, but not ruling over them.

Weatherbill, you should let the Bible interpret itself instead of imposing your own interpretations on it. Your interpretation requires the following two assumptions.

1) That alliances must last indefinitely.

2) That the battle of Armageddon is nations fighting each other.

You see in Revelation 17 that at least one alliance is destined to turn on itself. The "woman" that rides the "beast" is then burned and devoured by that same beast.

You also see in Revelation 17 that the beast power will attempt to make war with "the lamb". In other words this is a power that has the audacity to try to fight God Himself.
