The Libertarian War Over the Ukraine

Why do you keep posting crap from that source?

From your source...

Paul began giving a spate of interviews on RT, the Kremlin-funded disinformation network, justifying the blatantly illegal land-grab.

Bullshit. No he didn't.

Here are 1229 search results on RT with regard to Ron Paul and his talking points/discussion on the issues.

http://rt.com/search/everywhere/term/"ron paul"/

How much do you want to bet that not even a fraction of the issues that are dicussed in great depth there with the statesman have ever showed up at your source or approached in the same depth? If at all.

dailybeast is out of it's league. Some of the authors over there are crying for attention by bringing up issues that they clearly, as yet another one of these screeds indicates, are not qualified to discuss. Much less write about.

I 1-starred your thread, btw. If there is anything that I detest worse than a hit piece on the statesman, it's a hit piece on the statesman that can't even demonstrate that it's author is competent in understanding the issue that they attach to it.

Definitely a hit piece.

Sure, it is. It's the second one this week that I've seen posted from that source. What is annoying is that our people give them traffic in order to go debate the bullshit terms of controversy that the authors over there scribble up. That's what they want you do do. And it is likely why they keep getting shared over here.

But beyond that, some of those authors over there would do well to be mindful of who they reference as a disinformation platform.

They might get bit. Oh yes indeedy. Heh. :)

This part was hilarious.'

They still haven't proven that Russia invaded Ukraine expect with those laughable comical satellite images.

Phhht. If Russia invaded someone then you can bet yer sweet ass that the world would know it in a country minute. Heh.

At the end of the day what we have is a media war. Some will win. Most will lose. I just hate to see good people like Ron Paul attached to to some young punk's hit piece when the man is likely one of the most geo-politically astute figures on the planet. Which is why we have over 1200 articles featuring him on the source that some of the intimidated authors over there reference as "disinformation". It's as laughable as it is anoying.

The comments on there are sad, shows that this hatred campaign is stronger then the actual news. :(

Russians have been infiltrating dissenting political organizations for decades. It's what they do.

I think he spelled out in the piece that he and Paul had no love lost between the two of them. Actually, he said Paul called him a neo-con along with Kristol for having orchestrated Paul's demise. Typical Paul paranoia.
Since you aren't one of his supporters, this part isn't for you,

Go back to your bunker, Paul. Take your unvaccinated, disease-ridden friends that you don't think should have healthcare but can be provided for by church charities with you. Enjoy the Russian Hegemony you helped establish. For a doctor you must not recognize the symptoms of Alzheimer's. You must have it because they say those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it. If we follow your path we will, in effect, return to a time of great plagues and world wars fought due to an apathetic society. You are not fit to lead and it is a rel shame that too many who may be blinded by the euphoria of the word libertarian, get sucked in before realizing you are not one.

Yet somehow Republicans like Jeb Bush are fit to lead eh Scumbags?

Libertarians....selfish cowards

It seems Republicans will never learn till the shit hits the fan but then it would be to late. Why bother waking up them? its a waste
the majority of those users on that daily beast site are uneducated.

Ummm shouldn't Americans think the Ukraine/Russia clusterfuck is great. I mean, commies and NAZI's are killing each other off! That is a win in my book.

The statesman says he isn't pro-Putin. He says that he isn't pro-Russia.

He says thathe is pro-facts, though....

The statesman thinks that the best thing you can do for the Ukraine is to get the foreigners out of there. Get the Russians out, get the Europeans out, get the U.S. out, get NATO out in an effort to discourage the civil war that is going on there as a result of the coup. That's his position. Why? Because it's the only way that the Ukraine will be able to deal with its debt. And he's right. They're bankrupt.

Another hit piece by James Kirchick on the Pauls. No surprise here.

Read more about the infamous one...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Kirchick

Good catch! For some reason I skimmed right over the author's name. Kirchick is a neoconservative!

James ("Jamie") Kirchick is a fellow at the neoconservative Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) and a contributing editor at the New Republic. A former writer-at-large for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Kirchick has also contributed to various rightist outlets like the Weekly Standard and Commentary magazine's Contentions blog, as well as numerous mainstream publications, including the Los Angeles Times and Politico.

Not to rehash, but this Kirchick guy is pure evil and a hatchet man for the Neocons...

This gets me so mad that there is no better way to get back at these Neocons than to put a President Rand Paul in the White House. :D

I remember when he made an ass out of himself while awaiting the Manning verdict. He acted a fool there too. Seems like he's not competent in a journalistic setting where the critical issues of the day are on the table. Looks to sensationalize his own biases. More of a pop news shmuck of sorts.
