DONATE TO FINAL PUSH

With our success in Philadelphia, we're moving on to the final states of the Primary season. Depending on what we can raise, we'll purchase air time in one or more of the remaining states.

North Carolina & Indiana - May 6
Nebraska - May 13
Oregon & Kentucky - May 20
Idaho - May 27
New Mexico & South Dakota - June 3

As always, comments/suggestions welcome!

Daaaammmmnnn....just found out we're getting a 15% discount on the Philly buy! We're getting $10,058 worth of airtime for our $8,550 budget! Gonna add more spots now and re-submit to Philly ad office.

NICE! Awesome.

I'd suggest that you break it out by state.. i.e. a chip-in for NC. That way the meetups in NC can rally people in NC and point to that chip-in and say whatever is raised there will be used for ads in NC. ..

what days will the commercials be playing on?
what general times?

I know you put up a list, but i don't think i'm reading it right.
Did you actually book the specific days are did they pick them?

I gave them our channel/time slot list, then they spread them out nicely over April 16-22nd. I believe I'll receive a more detailed schedule in a day or 2.

But the "pre-log" will list a closer estimate of exactly when they'll air. Won't have that until right before they start though.

Are these garunteed plays? or bumpable plays?

Technically, they are "bumpable" seeing inventory is limited & FEC law requires the actual candidates be guaranteed airtime, if they want it. I spoke to the Philly ad people about this, and they said local businesses get their ads bumped first. So being a PAC we would be the last ones to get bumped, if it would even happen. It wouldn't surprise me if a couple of them did get bumped, however I stressed to them not to bump us, if at all possible.

Worst case we'd get some funds refunded and we could use them in another state.

Lets be honest people. Dr. Paul needs to win one of these states. The actual popular vote in the primaries to give us a huge media boost and a little more credability. South Dakota, Idaho are probably our best shot. Not to many markets in those states. I think Dr. Pauls needs to make it up there and I bet a few thousand goes along way with your ad.

Also to AdamT, have you guys sent your buy schedule to the official campaign. I know the guy who runs the DailyDose, Matt said he thought that HQ was going to do some media buying in PA. I think they should see the schedule, in case they are going into the Philly market.

Idaho and South Dakota seem winnable. Smaller markets, more plays,
I'd rather totally saturate a more rural state, than get a few plays in a more urban state.
We do need a primary win for media sake.

well.. here you go.. we here in NC would greatly appreciate it if those of you in early primary states would help us out and donate to run some ads in our state.

come on people. I threw it $50. Is there one person that will match me?
