Rubio has done nothing as a senator, he is too shallow. I would not worry about him too much

Am I the only one who sees the irony of RPF members claiming Christie is finished for cozying up to Obama, but Rand was "just playing politics" when he cozied up to Romney?cosying up to Obama will ensure Christie's re-election in New Jersey but he is finished on the national scene

It wasn't the physical embrace, it is the embrace of Obama's policies. Rationing, ousting the free market when it is needed most, price controls... If he's a social democrat and now a fiscal democrat, he might as well switch parties already.Am I the only one who sees the irony of RPF members claiming Christie is finished for cozying up to Obama, but Rand was "just playing politics" when he cozied up to Romney?
That's par for the course whenever a disastrous hurricane strikes. It wasn't the physical embrace, it is the embrace of Obama's policies. If he was really a badass, he would have said, "FEMA stay away from my state! Let it be known that here in NJ, you can charge whatever people are willing to pay for gas! If you can get it here, you can charge whatever you want!" Shortage would have been OVER.That's par for the course whenever a disastrous hurricane strikes.
I disagree. The people will think about him whatever the media tells them too. This will be forgotten. You'll see. Just like romneycare didn't matter. It should have disqualified Romney but it didn't.

I agree. I think 2016 is lost to him after this.
LOL...ah, yes. Partisan party politics. In reality, both Christie and Rand cozied up to people who they don't see eye-to-eye with politically.Uh, yes. Because Christie was cozying up to the opponent of his party's candidate and Rand was cozying up to his party's candidate.
Sure, but Christie is no libertarian....neither are most of the people in NJ, I suspect. If he was really a badass, he would have said, "FEMA stay away from my state! Let it be known that here in NJ, you can charge whatever people are willing to pay for gas! If you can get it here, you can charge whatever you want!" Shortage would have been OVER.
No one will remember this. If Romney could win this year with all of his baggage, all bets are off. The GOP voters are retarded. Just look at all the skeletons in closets that were totally ignored by voters last year. Newt's affairs, Santorum endorsing Arlen Specter, amongst other things, Mitt's mormonism and romneycare. All these things should've disqualified them but nobody cared. This thing with Christie is even less important and no one will care or remember in 4 years, guaranteed.
Oh, I couldn't disagree more. Sorry, Kathy. My estimation of Christie after this went from "he makes want to puke" to "I get a little nauseous thinking about him." He deserves flack for his shitty policies, not for the recent non events.
This is absolutely ridiculous, and a real indicator of how insane American politics are. Just because Christie chose to handle a state emergency and discontinue campaigning for Mittens and said a couple nice things about a sitting President about how he handled a semi-national disaster his career is in the toilet for conservatives. What a bunch of tit whining babies. My estimation of Christie after this went from "he makes want to puke" to "I get a little nauseous thinking about him." He deserves flack for his shitty policies, not for the recent non events.
