THE ECONOMIST: RP ceiling at 33%

Where does it say 33%?

Actually it says on third 33.33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333............etc.

How did such a man rise to the top of the polls? One thing to note is that his support has a ceiling: in no state do more than about a third of Republican voters favour him, though in Iowa’s crowded race that could be all he needs.

So, I suppose if one combines that third with all those Indies and Dems, it could conceivably come to as much as fifty or more percent. :D

I wonder if these MSM clowns will know to stop this ceiling talk at 50% ? Probably not.

49.9 repeating is the highest it can get before saying Ron Paul's ceiling is the majority vote right? I already think 33% is hilariously close to that.

Yes, in a 3+ candidate race it would be.

We should start taking bets on Gingrich's floor. If I were him I'd quit while I was in the double digits.

Be the first to comment. They dont use the word quixotic, they have a drawn cartoon on RP on a donkey with a lance, tilting at a windmill labeled "The Fed".

I didnt hate the article, besides the totally negative predictions of "he can't win".

FYI: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Economist

The publication belongs to The Economist Group, half of which is owned by the Financial Times, a subsidiary of Pearson PLC. A group of independent shareholders, including many members of the staff and the Rothschild banking family of England, owns the rest. A board of trustees formally appoints the editor, who cannot be removed without its permission. In addition, about two thirds of the 75 staff journalists are based in London, despite the global emphasis.

Ive been saying for a while a good 60 second spot about his "ceiling" increasing would be epic, I just dont have the skills.

It's in the 2nd paragraph.

Now in what state do more than 33% of Republican voters favor any of the candidates?

I guess the British don't like so much that Ron Paul is in their way of starting a massive war in the Eurasian block. Its nice to finally see that he has grabbed their attention, and is a viable threat against them and their schemes. Its sort of cool, to see that the Austrian School of thought was entirely created by the Hapsburg family funded university, which themselves were British agents, now someone representing said school of thought is their problem. I love it.

Yeah.. that's what campaigning is for.

Romney in New Hampshire, although not by much.

Still, what a ridiculous statement. A 33% ceiling in a 7-way race is pretty much amazing. When the lower tier candidates drop out that ceiling will continue to rise.
