it will collapse; just a question of when???

probably in the next 12-24 mths my guess, but im no expert.

probably will collapse when all this $$$ their printing gets down to the bottom of the trickle.

anyone got any clue how long it takes for the trickle down effect to hit us???

You're not understanding my post...we AREN'T going to see a collapse of our currency any time soon...20 years or so from now maybe...but not now

not counting social security obviously...that is no debt..they can print that in a second and issue bonds to cover it

That is total above ground silver. Much of that is not available to mint into coins, as it is being held as artworks and silverware.
I doubt there would be enough silver to mint many silver Ameros.

Edit: Considering the total population of the United States alone is around 305,433,140. That would make a total of around 59 ounces of silver per person to use up all of the existing above ground silver supply. Now add the population of Mexico and Canada and that would reduce the number of ounces of silver per person to much less.

Why would that happen? The world needs the American consumer? When America goes, China will have nobody to sell their goods to? Nope. When America goes, the Chinese will start consuming their own goods.

They are even starting to. They have plans on upping the farmers pay by 100%. Schiff has been saying this all along and China has just started to implement the plans to do so.

It's so silly to hear people say the dollar won't diminish. These kids cannot have been in existence very long, almost as to say "well it didn't happen since I was born, so it won't". Well the rest of us older members have news for ya... it did happen, and can happen again!

Did your dad also mumble about 'teaching you the value of a dollar' like mine did? And did he seem absolutely dumbfounded that he couldn't keep up with the dollar's value himself with all that inflation? I will never forget how hard it was for that generation to get used to the idea that the value of the dollar was no longer carved in stone (or cast in silver, at least).

They didn't like it. I wish they had done something about it.

I keep hearing this rhetoric but I still ask.... what exactly could they have done about it? They did exactly what we are doing now and it didn't help one little bit.

What are you going to say to your kids when they say "We wish you had done something about it."?
 
Is the basis of this entire argument that the dollar will be propped up based on the assumption that certain factions of TPTB care if the entire world economy collapses? What are their goals? How do people w/out allegiance to any country establish a new world order?
