The difference between 5th place and 1st place is something YOU CAN DO!!!

Why can't we be phone callers ??? that makes no sense to me.

I am citizen. I am allowed to call a fellow a citizen and discuss my political views.

Much more so than say, a campaign, a recording from a campaign, or a corporation.

Anyone feel the same ?

Why can't the grassroots act as a giant phonebank for each primary ?

Where is a list of numbers ?
someone help me find and spread...

Oh we can - McCain-Feingold (John McCain's own pet law, which he likes to ignore) restricts the amount and depth of coordination that can be done between NHQ and grassroots. Grassroots can do 10x as much as NHQ always. We just cannot do it with the tacit acknowledgement of NHQ. In fact they are required by law in many cases to request that we *not* do some things if coordination of such would begin to infringe upon McCain-Feingold. So when they tell you not to do things that make no sense whatsoever (ie - don't call your list, don't carry more than 5 people today) then snap to attention, report "Aye aye sir!" hang up the phone, then do it anyway.

Understand that the legal obligation is for them to request you don't do X-Y-Z. You have no legal obligation under McCain-Feingold to obey that request.

Thanks for letting me know about this. I live in Washington state but I will make sure everyone knows about this NOW so we can do it in full force 2 days before the caucus.

Fill your cars with people who have talked to and help them vote. Most people WON'T vote. Turn-out is everything.

We need to get this organized for other states, before they day of their primary! :)

On days like this I really wish I were not so far away.

Please you guys, do everything you can to get that vote mobilized in every state of the Union. You HAVE to get Dr Paul's name into the news. There are still Americans who have never even heard his name.

I was talking to a girl a week ago (from Chicago with parents in Florida) She was telling me how she wished there was a viable candidate for the presidency who actually ran on a "get out of the war" ticket. I asked her why she didn't vote for Dr Paul. Her response? "Who's Ron Paul?"

She later called her parents in Florida - and neither of them had heard of him either.

I'm an English woman in England - and I have just managed to reach 3 American people who have votes to spare. You all can do so much more, so get out there and force Fox and the other miserable media people to take notice.

You can do it!

Bump for great truth.

I read an article on the fervency of Obama's GOTV effort. We must duplicate this in NH. I wish I lived there so I could carpool people...

The difference between 5th place and 1st place is the difference between Ron Paul and John McCain. ;) Sorry to be a dick, but it's late, I'm depressed and can't sleep.

OK guys, so how about we actually GOTV in MI and SC huh? Today, I saw the same NH folks who told me to STFU when I was hitting this drum on Monday, sitting here on the forums after they had voted. I'll be in SC helping GOTV starting Thursday night.
