I know strategically perhaps I should be unhappy about this, but I'm still glad Santorum is gone.
Well, Newt seems to think that Santorum was a conservative:

I'd laugh at the idea that Newt thinks himself a conservative, but I'm not going to laugh because I suspect that people will believe him.
“Rick, I know the decision was difficult to make. Thank you for running a great campaign and spreading your message of faith, family and freedom. You have truly inspired many across the country. God bless you and your family.“ – Sam Rohrer
who here said Rohrer was our guy in PA? I doubt he would release such a statement if Paul dropped out. Seals up my vote for Scaringi
Rohrer showed his true colors there. Dang, I liked that guy too. Not anymore.
The problem with this line of reasoning is that it just makes assumptions based on increasingly unlikely events. The crowds at the pep rallies don't translate at the ballot boxes, I don't know why people still don't understand this. The only thing the media will notice, which they are already mentioning in EVERY article, is that the "other rans" Gingrich and Paul now have zero chance and this thing is all over. People will buy it hook line and sinker. So what you call doomsday, I call reality. I don't like it, but it is what it is.
The bottom line is Ron has to do something to make himself relevent right this minute. The grassroots can't do it for him, the media won't do it for him, he has to do it. He also has to attack Romney like he's done to others. So far he's been unwilling to do either.
I concur, and that's good for us as far as it goes. Santorums unbound delegates and state delegates become in interesting question indeed at this point.Technically bound since he suspended. Most state laws they remain bound unless a candidate drops out. Santorum won't officially drop out until Romney is a lock, IMO.

Yeah...if only we had a few "experts" in charge to tell us what to do. Then we'd have a much better chance!
Sorry, that was a bit fececious. This is a grassroots movement, isn't it? Why would that change now? That should be one of our strengths, not weaknesses. His current campaign (and you guys) got him to this point. Why change direction? His crowds are only growing, despite the lack of media coverage.
I see this as a catalyst (in our favor).
