The Constitution Party is not Constitutional.

Last night on RevolutionBroadcasting.com, both Baldwin and his VP stated that they support the Constitution Party platform, and that they had no problem with any of it.

Mr. Baldwin also said he joined the party because of it's platform.

It's platform has some very scary stuff in it.

Yikes, thanks.

Apparently they want the US to remilitarize the Panama Canal too.

returning to God's Law

was applauded loudly by Stephen Colbert's audience when Stephen asked Mike Huckabee to confirm that he was trying to do that too, and then Stephen asked his audience if they supported that.

AMEN!!

The founding fathers knew that a moral government couldn't be supported without the top of the metaphysical heirarchy, but that it couldnt endorse a nationwide religion, because religious freedom doesnt come from the point of a gun, of course.

Religious persecution masquerading as God and Christ-based are actually the spirit of the antichrist that Paul warned us to watch out for . . .

His religious beliefs don't concern me.

His political beliefs that include him being allowed to legislate according to his religious beliefs, do.

Think very carefully about what your saying.

You don't mind if he makes it LAW that we all have to go to church every Sunday?

What if he starts making other religions illegal? Will that be ok as well as long as he gets rid of the Federal reserve?

So we are willing to give up our rights of free speech, and our freedom of religion, and the constitution's protections for us that protect us from religious tyranny, in exchange for a more stable economy?

Chuck Baldwin has said he would PRESERVE religious freedom for all, not make laws for it. My point is that other happenings are more important.

The fact that you just said that you don't mind if he makes it against the law for me not to go to church every Sunday exposes just how lost you really are.

After reading some of the things being posted here, it's no wonder Lew Rockwell and Murray Rothbard both referred to themselves as "paleo-libertarians", and not regular Libertarians...

..........wow...........this kind of rock-solid logic can only be the result of years of hard drugs.......or religion.

Surely You Jest...

Most of the founders were NOT christian!

I'm wondering if you even clicked on the link posted in that response because if you have, then you're simply refusing to believe the obvious truth of our Founders' beliefs; they were Christians indeed. What solid evidence do you have which would refute my own assertions? Please provide citations.

Religious Liberty and the Laws of God

I am not an atheist. And you have the right to practice your religion. You DO NOT have the right to pursue legislation to respect the establishment of YOUR religion.

You need to read this. Please do so, and refrain from any more ill-formed disputations.

lol

never had years of hard drugs - and am against organized religion. It's just a way for some men to control other men's minds in the name of God and Christ. Jesus didnt take over the Roman government although he easily could have, given the passion of his followers (that cut an ear off when he was arrested).
He was a pacifist in the most extreme case I've ever seen, and I can testify to it personally. He's given me inner peace, and I share that with everyone I come into contact with.

In all gentleness,
Craig

You remember when I went to that link you gave me and came back armed with more ammo to prove you wrong?

The link you just gave me goes to a Christian website which is obviously going to be biased. At least the first one you gave me was trying to tell the story of history.

Nice try Theocrat, but I don't have to agree with you to be "informed".

I don't deny that some of them were Christians. The issue is about whether or not the founding fathers intended for our Constitution to be based in biblical law. Or more to the point, if the bible should influence the Constitution or be used to interpret it.

I'll say it again,

I had the privelege to cast my vote for a Libertarian for state rep on the 20th and I did,

come November I vote Baldwin, as I hear Paul supports. (maybe it's a rumor)

I'm a former republican voter so you see I have less scruples.:)

I'm soooooooooooooooo compromised.

It's fun to talk about our "better than thou" convictions aint it? Sheesh.

Bunkloco

I don't like the Constitution party, but then I don't like the Constitution either.
