The California Revolution of 2010

I have a confession I like your name so much that I have actually used Constituent on 2 other forums Calguns and the new forum we created NightingaleforGovernorForums.com

Hey man, that's awesome! It's yours. :)

I'm not attached at all, and my purpose for using "constituent" was that it sounded better than "nobody," "everybody," or "salt of the earth."

In fact, there's an open invite on the table for anyone who wants the name constituent at ronpaulforums.

Anyone interested just let me know. I will gladly fade back into obscurity. :)

I knew he was a socialist....but a nazi? Source?

Nationalist+socialist=nazi

Here's a group of schoolchildren performing the Pledge the way it was originally intended:

Here are the current major endorsements.

- Chuck Baldwin

2008 Presidential Candidate Constitution Party

"I am happy to endorse the gubernatorial candidacy of Chelene Nightingale. Supporters and friends of limited government and true conservative/constitutional principles have no better ally in California than Chelene. She would make a fantastic governor and would lead the way to bringing fiscal sanity back the The Golden State."

- Mr. G. Edward Griffin

At the Central Valley Tea Party on Saturday, April 10th, 2010. The extraordinary Mr. Griffin, Documentary Filmmaker, Author, Political Lecturer, signed a Nightingale For Governor endorsement letter.

- Tom Tancredo

Former congressmen and 2008 Presidential Candidate

California's number one blog site, Californiality, recently stated that "the Chelene Nightingale for Governor Campaign is anything but dull." The campaign's latest endorsement continues to prove that the Nightingale for Governor Campaign continues to create interest and excitement in an otherwise pedestrian campaign.
Although the two main Republican Gubernatorial candidates make claims about being allies of voters who demand secure borders, America's leading voice for border security, former Colorado Congressman, Tom Tancredo, has opted to cross party lines and endorse Chelene Nightingale for Governor of California.

Tancredo, who continues to be the nation’s acknowledged leader in the battle against illegal immigration and amnesty and for secure borders declare, "California is on the edge of a political and financial abyss. It is desperately in need of leadership that does not come out of the 'let's do it the way it has always been done and expect things to be different' school for politicians. Chelene Nightingale went to the college of constitutional principles instead and graduated at the head of her class. It's a school all Americans should attend, or at least elect leaders who did."

This may sound strange, but the fact that she endorsed Ron Paul means more to me than any endorsement she might get, including from RP.

I strongly disagree with her on immigration, but I'm thinking I may for her anyway.

Let me ask this, as you seem to have some familiarity with the campaign: Would she focus mainly on removing "illegal" immigrant access to government benefits (which I would support), or would she launch a major effort at massive deportations, and/or increased government intrusion into business?

On this she will need to take a page or two out of Ron's playbook. She needs to talk about fiscal responsibility and be specific with charts, diagrams, statistics. She needs to lay her financial plan for the state on the table. Nothing will give her more credibility than producing a sound financial strategy for the state.

That sounds like a good idea! Fiscal responsibility is key.

Okay that is a good place to start... Remember it is a Nightingale press release we can shorten it but we need to show the impact of an individual to what is achievable that is why there is an emphasis on the achievement.

I agree with Constituent. Focusing on Chelene and her issues is most important.

That brings a good point this is something I am working on.

Nightingale for Governor

Freedom is your Responsibility? What else would be good as our tag line...

I am in the process of developing the "We the People" contract to California. For the time in American history since our founding we are going to allow the citizens to create the solutions.

Once the contract is completed we package it and it will be a contract between Nightingale and the citizens of California. When she is elected in to office she will enact all the resolutions and on November 5th that is when we will teach people a lesson that has been forgotten for years "Freedom is our Responsibility". I am going to hold the largest mass donation in US history to restore the Republic of California.

If you have been trained to believe something a certain way your entire life how would you know any better? That is why all economic plans have failed it is a politician presenting a deal but if you change the dynamics you change the system.

Our platform is the constitution limited government, free market economics, cut spending, principled leadership and we really are all these things.

Fiscal responsibility follow the Constitution, provide solutions through the people get people involved then you teach them the final lesson.

Deborah what do I need to do get you to organize a March lol?

Oh Boy, uh.....let's talk about that some more.

In the meantime, do you know how many assemblymen and Senators are up for election? Because she's going to be in the same boat as Arnold Kennedy-Shriver if she doesn't have a majority imo. There really should be a concerted effort to throw the incumbants out and get fresh blood in all the way around.

Is there a main hub for all the tea parties and 9-12rs in Cali?

She's gonna need to get airtime on the a.m. waves. She needs exposure BAD! Never heard of her until you posted.

I really, honestly think the only thing Californians care about is the coming economic collapse of the state and what can be done about it. Straight talk about that is going to get people's attention.

She needs to hook up with Dr. Paul for a chat.

I hate to say it but a Palin endorsement will go far. I think it helped Rand.

just some thoughts.....

You're not selling me with this God business however;

California, the most diverse and beautiful country the world has ever known has spent the last 200 years revolutionizing the world, and drawing the attention of all the world's people. It is a disgusting crime against our species that California's government has become what it is. It is crippling or destroying everything good here.

I'm on board. I'll give the old Republic another chance. I plan to leave this place and never look back, but I'm willing to try while I'm here.

I don't know if she can win. But I haven't met anyone who wants Whitman or Brown. People wanted Obama, people wanted more Bush, Ron Paul losing was inevitable. I think this race is up for grabs if a real candidate emerged. Whitman has 0 government experience, Brown is washed up. I have no idea how either of them won their noms but I know there's no real support. Party loyalty is the only opposition.

If she wants to win, she needs to sweep up entire groups. Get the Tea Party, get the open-carriers, get up in the media's shit and make her name known. Be CUT THROAT. Right now nobody knows her. If she's to have a chance, people at least need to know her name. Pull off some epic publicity stunt before the money bomb.

Jamsie set up a chip in and a wish list with itemized expenses. Who is her campaign manager? And does she have offices set up in the major cities yet?

her issues page needs a lot of work-- two of the hottest issues in california are not even mentioned-- gay marriage and marijuana legalization.

what are her views on both? is she a social conservative who will use the force of government to deny people the right to contract with one another as they see fit?

will she nullify the feds on their intrusion of prop 215?

and what exactly is the California State Military she wishes to post at the border?

To protect our California border, I will place our state military on the border to help border patrol.
