The California Revolution of 2010

She seems pretty solid to me. The only listed issue I disagree with her on is "illegal" immigration -- and even on that, her #1 solution is to end benefits to them, which I absolutely support.

If I may ask, what do you object to Ozzy?

When you are the participant in the fraud. You only give it credibility.

More politics and more government are not the solution to getting more freedom.

The credibility of the government does not depend on voter turnout. They'll just assume people are apathetic, or happy with the status quo, if they don't show up.

Voting for liberty undermines the credibility of tyranny.

Heck, upwards of 60% don't show up now. If those 60% voted for reducing and eliminating the central state, or secession, we'd have liberty already.

More politics and more government are not the solution to getting more freedom.

That's like saying more gunfights are not the solution to getting more peace, so you shouldn't defend yourself when a serial killer breaks into your house.

Voting for liberty means less government, not more. Yes, the political game is stupid, and popular support does not justify the immoral behaviors of politicians. But, if I can stop or slow down the tyrants by winning at their stupid game, and educate people to boot, I should do so.

Heck, if the tyrants would stop if I beat them at tiddlywinks, I'd do that too.

NH political liberty activists recently got all blades legalized, for example. That has a very real impact -- some poor innocent guy with a knife, who gets pulled over, will now not be locked in a cage over it. If they can get pot decriminalized, there will be an even bigger impact.

I agree with and support outside the system activism too, but to assert that political liberty activism can not have positive results is simply to ignore reams of evidence. Ron Paul, for example, has probably brought more people to the ideas of liberty than any man in the last 20 years.

About Chelene

Chelene Nightingale is no stranger to politics. For the past 5 years, Chelene has been a leading Constitutional activist organizing many rallies and marches in California. Chelene organized the "Free the Texas Three" march for Deputy Gilmer Hernandez and Border Patrol Agents Ramos & Compean in Hollywood. The march was featured on the nationally syndicated show "America's Most Wanted."

In addition to organizing political events, Chelene has lobbied as a private citizen in both Sacramento and Washington DC, demanding secure borders and no amnesty. Besides the border security issue, Ms. Nightingale has attended and spoken at Tea Parties and End the Fed events.

Back in 2006, she was the campaign manager for third party gubernatorial candidate, Art Olivier. During the campaign, they were invited to the late, great Aaron Russo's home to receive his endorsement and watch his extraordinary documentary "America: Freedom to Fascism".

During the last presidential election cycle, Chelene was honored with an invitation to personally meet and endorse Congressman Ron Paul.

It was due to her past political achievements that the National Constitution Party leaders and members requested her to run for governor in California as an American Independent. This daughter of a Military War Veteran accepted the challenge in order to help restore our ailing state that has been hurt by special interest groups and big government.

Ms. Nightingale, who has won past awards and achievements including being listed In "Who's Who", is no stranger to leadership roles. Besides being the managing director of a former 501c3, she has also served as a Vice President for a distribution/production company and has been a small business owner. She has put her acting and stage-directing career on hold to help "we the people" take back our state so that we can govern ourselves the way our Founding Fathers intended.

Guess who I'm voting for?

Hint: It's not Nightingale.

is it this guy?

Libertarian
for Governor of California
Vote for the “Liberator”

she'll get my vote but she is running against the dem machine and the republican machine in CALIFORNIA! She has no chance, sorry for the negativity. Just being honest.

They said them same thing to me about November 5th when it was released guess what? We made US Presidential history for a 3rd party candidate RON PAUL!

Ron Paul didn't run as a third party candidate. I am usually quite positive. I am helping the Dennis campaign take on Pelosi in CA-8 which is a up-mountain battle, but this race does not have much chance. Chelene is running against two machines. One Machine is willing to spend something like 40 million dollars and the other has the unions and big gov orgs, as well as the loyal dem vote that rarely fails.

I'm just saying. I am a voter in California but this is a waste of resources IMO.
