The Black Panthers are coming to the RNC convention.

I don't consider Alex Jones empowering, I consider him enslaving. I remember the video where there was this crapton of Paulers and Tea Partiers coming together to defend gun rights, and AJ jumps in and starts shouting over everybody, insulting everybody, and destroyed the impending unity into chaos, dissolution, and enmity.

And again...
My point was (and still is), what Larry Pinkney had to say was relevant to the discussion of this thread. It's NOT about Alex Jones. It's not about YOU, and it's not about ME. It's about understanding how the system operates. It's about how they (TPTB) can continue down the path of tyranny, as they have done, by keeping us divided. You know, united we stand, divided we fall?

Larry Pinkney interview was empowering--but you wouldn't know because you simply dismissed it, because Alex Jones interviewed him.

Talk about disinformation...It had nothing to do with Paulers or Tea Partiers. Jones called for Patriots to come out and protest the Police Headquarters because the Police, in conjunction with the ATF, were shutting down gun shows. Jones interviewed the owner of the gun show and decided to (on the fly) call for people to protest at the Austin Police Headquarters on his radio show. John Bush and Catherine Bliesh, just so happened, decided to organize a protest too on the same day. As a matter of fact, shortly after that fiasco Catherine Bliesh's true colors came out because she publicly called Ron Paul a traitor, but I am digressing.

Thank you Donnay for showing me what manner of creature I am dealing with in AJ. Because of you I now dislike Alex Jones.

No need to thank me, we had already established you didn't like Alex by your very first response to me. It's just a shame you missed a truly empowering interview because of your prejudice towards Alex Jones.

Ahh yes, I am prejudiced because I can see how AJ Acolytes like to carve us up into little pieces and set us against one another and i think that this may be a bad idea.

See, you are still dividing me out from the liberty movement, and you are still basing it on AJ.

When people accuse me of dividing the liberty movement because I don't worship at the altar of Alex Jones, and then procede to divide people around us into categories according to their position on Alex Jones, then pure reason and logic tell me to be suspicious of Alex Jones.

Before I didn't actually care about AJ pro or con, now after our conversation I am beginning to suspect that AJ's whole purpose might be to divide us. Your continued insistent followups about my prejudice and divisiveness are convincing me more than ever.

Keep it up and you may even push me all the way to hating Alex Jones, which would require action on my part to prevent further damage to the cause of liberty.

And you could have ended all of this over six hours ago simply by giving me a timestamp in the video.

Instead, you had to insist that I am some kind of "lesser libertarian" and that I am helping to divide the liberty movement.

It's pretty clear to me who is the one dividing us here, and despite all of your accusations it is not me. If that's what AJ does to people, maybe instead of just ignoring him we need to actually do something to prevent him from destroying us...

But go on and tell me again how I am such a bigot for refusing to collapse to my knees at the feet of Alex Jones.

Now people will get mixed up and think they see the Pink Panther.

LOL,

These really need to come back into Fashion and use.

Truly multi-purpose.

Good grief Gunny! What part of "there's no particular time stamp to point you to" do you not understand? Look at it another way. Say if someone said "Explain the federal reserve to me" and I posted the video "The Creature from Jekyll Island" and there response was "I don't want to wade through an hour of G. Edward Griffin. Just give me the meat of it." Would that make any kind of sense? If all you wanted was the damn soundbite then you didn't need a time stamp at all. All you need is to know that an original black panther came on the Alex Jones show to call out the "New Black Panthers" for being cointelpro. And when did he do that? Well for about an hour. The issue here isn't Alex Jones. Larry Pinkney could have gone on Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck and said the same thing....only they probably wouldn't have had him on because what he's saying doesn't fit the false left/right paradigm their pushing. For the record I don't give a flying fig if you like Alex Jones or not. But if you just wanted the "cliff notes" version you could have asked without being a prick in the process. Yeah, and I still love you.

This is more fear-mongering and a possible set up for a false flag. Cointelpro. The SPLC is totally behind this.

ETA:

And now we've got this colored clone in the whitehouse, signing NDAA...extending the Patriot Act

Great stuff!

I disagree with you about this. Imagine that. :p

Gunny spoke to the same frustration I have had, but he said it much better than I ever have.

When it comes to Alex Jones I'm only surprised when we agree. :p Here's the bottom line. Gunny could have made his timestamp request without any additional snide remarks. Do you disagree with that? How did the extra snide remark help Gunny get what he wanted? Further what was the point of the request at all? What "magic words" was he looking for that he couldn't get from the description of the video? Also notice the snippet of the video I transcribed. It wasn't about the FBI and COINTELPRO. Rather it was one black man calling out our "black president" for enacting policies that hurt everyone including black people. Oh...but Gunny doesn't want to "wade through an hour of Alex Jones" so he'll miss anything other than what his preconceived notion is the "meat" of the video. So if your frustration is that you don't want to be fully informed...well I'm sad you feel that way.

Gunny,

I never once called you a bigot--those are your words, not mine. Your interpretation seems to be a little over the top and quite melodramatic. You have made this entire argument about YOU and Alex Jones. It's sad that you cannot get past that.

Drake, sorry, but I don't agree. You are omitting Donnay's responses to him.

I have also noticed the trend on here that if someone doesn't agree with the whole "9-11 is an inside job" meme or doesn't think Alex Jones walks on air, that they are insulted in a variety of ways.

We don't need to agree on everything, right, and still be on the same side?

Alex Jones is a drama queen and I take every single thing he says with a grain of salt. With that said, there is no doubt in my mind that he is trying to unite people around liberty. Without him, a lot of very important issues would not be brought to the forefront. On the flip side, we probably wouldn't have nearly as many delusional conspiracy theorists on here either.

He was the first one to break the news of the documents circulating from the MO Fusion Center labeling Ron Paul supporters as possible domestic terrorists.

You don't agree with what exactly? Sorry, but you haven't stated a point of disagreement. I tell you want. Take an hour to actually watch the video. It won't kill you. Tell me if you disagree with anything in that video. Tell me if you honestly disagree with my assertion that the entire 1 hour video contains a plethora of important information that can't be boiled down to a single time stamp.

Edit: Further Donnay offered an olive branch to Gunny and Gunny rudely smacked it down.

This:
Excuse me if I misunderstood your post. But the way I took it was; you couldn't be bothered to listen to an interview hosted by Alex Jones. Alex's guest was Larry Pinkney, veteran Black Panther, who knows from experience how the government uses Cointelpro to continue their tyranny by dividing us in the process.

Should have been the end of the bickering.

9/11 isn't even mentioned in the video! I've noticed that some people are reactionary in the other direction to where any time something is posted from Infowars.com they willfully close their minds down to the information because of the source. I don't consider that healthy. Maybe you do.

We don't need to agree on everything, right, and still be on the same side?

Sure we're on the same side. But here's where I think you can grow. Take the time to watch the entire video. Forget for a moment that Alex Jones is in it. Tell me what you think of this video. Listen to it in the background while you do something else. Sure you don't have to do that to be "on my side", but you may find yourself enlightened on some things if you do. And none of those things have anything to do with 9/11.

I disagree. The "you couldn't be bothered to listen to an interview hosted by Alex Jones" was more than condescending.

I can only speak for myself, but to me it's a combination of some of the antics I have watched Alex pull, along with some of the brow-beating I have seen on here of anyone who doesn't kneel before Alex Jones and his theories. After a period of time, it builds up and causes the exact opposite reaction that those involved are trying to create.

I might later. Right now, I have no interest in it and that was largely caused by the behavior in this thread.

Just let some time pass. I'll try to watch it later. Since you requested it...
