The Battered Wife Syndrome

Everyone witnessed tonight how the Republican candidates gang-jumped Ron Paul on the ABC Debate. The media "claims" the seating arrangement was drawn by straws, though it seemed set up to me to have Ron Paul sitting near the center, while for the first 20 or so minutes, the rest of the field tried to lambaste him on his views of foreign policy.

I thought he did very well from this position, and he fended off a half dozen others with relative ease. Also, after hearing people complain that his podium was always on the edge... for the past 4 debates... well, I laughed at that.

Well, I don't know where your from, but where I am from, he allowing himself to be lambasted and not even get aggressive and fight back is showing weakness in his ability to take charge.

Remember, this is an election for the Presidency of the United States. Our President needs to be a leader who is strong on his convictions. Part of that strength is not allowing yourself to be bullied by other people.

Ron Paul did ok last night, but he needs to get assertive when these other clowns, both Republican and Democrat, start attacking him.
