Regarding the 28-point plan (click below for details), my simplest opinion is that is contains mostly good stuff, but some really bad stuff sprinkled in.
The bad stuff is a overt plot to profit by Trump and the oligarchs. They are appealing to the money-grubbers in Russia.
Specifically, Points #14 and #21. Look them up and notice they are the only two problematic points out of all 28.
They want to continue using Ukraine to make money and appeal to Russia's financial elites to sell their countrymen out.
It's probably just a starting point, however. Chances are still high that Putin will be able to "massage" those to make them more acceptable
to the Russian people.
So, chances are looking better for peace, but it will require that the Americans and Europeans give back more on #14 and #21
than they are currently offering.
