Maybe it needs to be adjusted. A visit to ronpaulgraphs.com says that the pace is for $15,421,319 by the end of Q4.

With a huge money bomb coming, and Dr Paul's jump into tier-1 news coverage. Adjusting the goal to 16M should be feasable.

The press release announcing it alone
ie
Paul Campaign Forced to Raise Donation Goal by 35% to keep pace with nearly 100,000 donors

could keep the press concentrating on the 11/5 money bomb for a few extra days.

Just a suggestion

Meet one goal before setting a new one is a good policy. Success breeds success. People lose motivation if targets just keep getting moved as they get close.

If you want to keep peopl from getting complacent it is better to move the date to achieve 12 million forward, rather than raise the amount. then after the 12 million is met, set a new goal.

My two bits.

Yeah, people like hitting goals. Just leave it as it is, and if we hit 12m with lots of time left, then the campaign will raise it (that's what they did last time).

But if you raise it to 15m before we actually get to 12m, then people will be leery. They won't wanna try to get to 15m, for fear the new target will be 20m. No sense of accomplishment, just a sense of falling further and further behind.

There is another money bomb today. In honor of Veterans' Day. BOMBS AWAY!

It all depends on how big December 16th is. I think if enough people start to get on board, we keep making headlines, and we can TRANSFER this energy and enthusiasm to the new supporters, we might be looking at a 20 million dollar quarter.

12 million is what the campaign estimates it will need in order to win nh, iowa, michigan, SC, and nevada. The earlier we reach that goal the more rock solid the victories will be.

3 Mil+ for ads though

They might be able to squeak by with 12 mil, but seriously... lets give 'em an extra 3 mil so they have no excuse for scrimping when it comes to hiring actors for their commercials next time... lol.

He's catchin' on, I'm tellin ya!

Even if we get 20 million which will be record setting, we still have to catch up building up a national campaign organization.

Never get complacent.

As Ron Paul becomes the major contender he is going to be attacked and he will need money to respond to the attacks.

We are getting enough money to win one or two primaries, but we will need enough money to win ten primaries in a row.

That is very possible to get provide Ron does well in New Hampshire.
