The couple I mentioned BOTH have these health issues, there sparky. Neither one can do any of these things, something I made clear in the post you quoted. I didn't ask, nor do I give two shits, about what you do around your house. Like any of that shit is hard to do, lol.

eta: Something tells me you probably blame your husband in some way for all the work you have to do now....

Go fuck yourself, harder. My husband is the nicest guy in the world, would have done anything for anybody. Seeing him reduced to not being able to move without wincing is the hardest thing I'll ever have to deal with, asshole. And I have to deal with it every fucking single day.

And not that it's any of your business, but I've had a degenerative joint disease since I was 12 fucking years old. So guess what - once again you don't know jack shit about me.....but "sparky", both of us have serious health issues too. I just don't whine about it on the internet, because I don't want help.

Nobody has ever accused me of being afraid to say what I think. ANd I think you're being a total dick.

And yes, this is totally worth a ban. I don't even have a riding mower, you pussy. Bet you do..... Want to tell me that shoveling the drive way all winter isn't hard work either? Oh wait - you live in Florida. Panama City, even. That explains a lot...

So if a local or state government wanted to pass a law prohibiting employers from random urine testing of employees, that would be OK?

.

Absolutely. "If you want to do business in my community, you have to agree to these terms," is not unreasonable. And the more local the law, the better. I'm a bigger fan of city and county government than I am state and federal. It's a shame that most people don't pay nearly as much attention to those entities as they do federal politics.

But here's the thing: You injected your situation into this, and it wasn't even fucking related to what I said, because BOTH people in that household can't do shit for themselves with regard to outside work, and a THIRD PARTY is helping them(that being me, the total dick)...THAT was my fucking point, is that YOU'D NEVER help them, you'd just call the cops.

Not that you'd ever see that, but whatever. Enjoy what's left of your miserable life.

The localities don't have the right to tell a farmer what they can and can't grow on he property. PERSONAL PROPETY RIGHTS trump BS laws. If they aren't infringing on your rights, you've got no right to tell someone else how to run theirs.

I think I'm going to move to your town and get a law passed that says you must have grass at least 2 feet tall. Instead of $500 we can do $5000, that'll teach em!!

Did the law exist when the business was started? I have no problems with local governments setting rules for employers, either. My beef is either with the federal government, or the fact that they shoudn't pass such laws.

Which is different than saying they don't have the right to.

The anti-GMO legislation in Oregon comes to mind. The localities have the right to dictate that the farmers only grow approved crops, but that certainly doesn't meant they shoudl.

So Jim Crow laws were a good thing then?

Is calling a person a cunt the same as calling someone a dick?

Probably. But I"ve never been afraid to say what I think. ANd I think he's being a dick.

I go to bed so tired at night that I can barely make it up the stairs, and that asshole tells me I"m not really working that hard?

I sit home and cry quietly sometimes when I see my husband in so much pain, and he accuses me of blaming my husband for his stroke?

He gets to wear the badge of honor - he made personal attacks that hit home, made me cry and will finally get me banned. ANd he will take great pride in it, no doubt. And the mods will cut out the posts, so nobody will even see what he did.

I'm a pretty tough old bird, but insinuating that I don't carry enough weight, or that I don't love my husband enough - that's being a dick and he can go fuck himself, hard.

Nobody here works harder than I do. My whole life is held together with nothing but dollar store duct tape right now, but I am indeed holding it together pretty much all by myself.

That's the message I just received from my first ever neg rep. lmao.

Too much of a fucking coward to "say" it publicly, huh?

Firsts for everyone!! Got my first negrep today to. Mine wasn't very colorful though:

Again, mice and rats and mosquitoes and other pests do indeed live in unkempt grass. Don't like city rules? Dont live in the city.

Uh, it seems that you forgot to mention that you negged me first.....

In doing a bit of homework, the standard is that grass may not be more than 12" high. That's pretty tall. I don't think it's worth going to jail over, but there you go.

Whoese fucking me. Everyone has a cross to bear. Shit happens. I hate that your husband had a stroke. I hate that its made life unfair for you. I hate that you think the worlds against you. But it is what it is. Thankfully you work harder then everyone else while you type 40 THOUSAND messages since 2007. That's like only 15 a day average every day since 2007. Get over yourself.

And yes, this is the first time I've went after someone on a stupid message board. Anglec, I'll keep it to this thread. You've always seemed nice prior till now. I don't have a problem with you with the exception being this issue which your're dead wrong on.

Uh, it seems that you forgot to mention that you negged me first.....

No actually I didn't. Its right in the first words of my first post on this thread.

"Had to negrep you. Sorry you're a good poster."

EDITED AFTER I RESPONDED

Whoa. Yep, as a matter of fact, I just bought one last week. An old John Deere L100. Bought it from the same aforementioned neighbor who can't cut his grass. He offered to give it to me, but I gave him $200. A little bit of welding on the deck and she runs like a champ.

Guess what, angela? I can cut my yard and THREE of my neighbor's yards in about an hour.

Shoveling snow in the winter? Don't like it? THEN FUCKING MOVE.

Funny you mention that, I've said it here in the past, I used to shovel all of my neighbors driveways/sidewalks while I was stationed in Maine/New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I'll bet you only do yours.

Your whole "Panama City even, that explains a lot" comment means so little to me I'm surprised I'm even commenting on it. I don't live in Panama City, I live in Panama City Beach, two TOTALLY different towns.

Explains what, exactly? I'm not even from here, I was born in New Hampshire. I've lived here since I was 14, so 23 years total, give or take the time I was in the CG.

What, you insinuating I'm a dirty assed redneck, or something? Lol.
