Texas State Convention Live Stream

Brief update from Ft. Worth:

1. Delegates can arrive at the convention at any time and bump alternates from their spots (by rule registration must remain open until the last session begins).

2. Ron Paul's speech was AWESOME!!! I nearly missed the beginning because my SD caucus ran late (but not as late as some). Fortunately, I only missed the guy introducing RP. There were 2 to 3 thousand people at that breakout session, about 90% delegates and alternates for Ron Paul (a few guests and a few "non-believers"). And yes, the chants of "President Paul" and "End the Fed" were as loud and passionate as at any RP rally. Great theme - unity through liberty.

3. There were significant gains today on permanent committees, so big <3 to all the delegates who stuck it out in those SD caucuses! please pray; it is close.

4. tomorrow is a big day. We will choose our state executive committee for the next 2 years at 8:00 am. Then in the afternoon, each congressional district (different from the SDs) will caucus and choose 3 national delegates, 3 alternates, and a representative to the national nominations committee. The national nominations committee will report a slate of at large delegates to the convention Saturday afternoon. The at large, CD, and super delegates total 155 to Tampa, so please pray and think good thoughts for us.

This media news been going around in MSM, is there any truth to this?????

Ron Paul concedes defeat, asks supporters to ‘be respectful’ in Tampa

http://blog.chron.com/txpotomac/2012/06/ron-paul-concedes-defeat-asks-supporters-to-be-respectful-in-tampa/

Ron Paul, who has not officially dropped his bid for the Republican presidential nomination

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/06/07/ron-paul-admits-he-wont-be-nominee/

Not like that, no. He said he expects he will have 200 bound delegates and 500 delegates altogether at TAmpa which wont be enough to get the nomination but will be enough to do business. He didn't say he wouldn't try to persuade more to his cause with his nomination speech, for example, and the way he spoke today, I could see a lot shifting. However, with those numbers, it would take something clearly outside the ordinary to win. But he didn't 'admit defeat', he said he expected to have 500 delegates. Make of it what you will. The man seemed anything but defeated, today.

If you're gonna play the game, you gotta learn to play it right.

I really believe Ron Paul supporters should publicly take on the MSM out in the open for their disgusting way of disinforming people and fraudulently misguide the public from their bias interest, and for making a mockery and trampling on justice for all decent living people.

Today was the 1st real day of the Texas Convention. Few things to note.

-We removed 3 people on the Rules Committee and replaced them with Liberty minded people.

-Almost every single ALT was seated. In some SD's there were not even enough ALT to fill in for the missing delegate spots.

-We have numbers, in larger amounts, some SD's we have clear majority.

Follow me on twitter tomorrow for updates. @Korywatkins

I'm a delegate from SD23/CD30 and a sergeant-at-arms, I'm definitely going to be working hard to get our people elected.

Crazy day at the Texas GOP Convention already. A Ron Paul supporter was just assaulted by a Romniac. I got video. Posting later today #TXGOP

Our guys really, imho, should say 'Ron Paul' if they must when others say get behind Romney, not boo. Booing never sounds good in media.

this is not good. It sounds like there are a lot more people there today, which I was concerned about. Yesterday there were no delegates elected:
