Texas RPFers: Please Identify Yourself in this Thread!

Is Texas really this disorganized? Is it so bad that you're identifying people on a public board? Because you must be aware who else reads these threads.

No..... We have multiple Facebook and Meetup groups. We just got hundreds of delegate slots last night, all corrdinated through an automated texting program, where updates can be sent out and you can send information back to our teams via text.

Texas is semi-organized, there's no official campaign presence but the two major metro areas in Texas are organized. Secondly, there's no harm in having this information public. Is Ron Paul supporters organizing a new concept or a big secret to the other campaigns?

When three other campaigns organize their daily activities around stopping only one candidate, then yes, WHO supports Ron should be a secret to them. Every Mittler, Frothy and Grinch supporter is fine with whichever candidate wins, unless it's Ron. But maybe it works differently in TX?

As you can see, most have remained anonymous or on a first name basis only. What's the difference between this and a sign wave/door-to-door or just wearing a Ron Paul t-shirt? No strategies have been discussed beyond the already widely known delegate strategy. Delegates have not given their identities either.

How the heck are we going to communicate and organize? Secret decoder rings and trap door rooms in pubs? lol

Secret decoder rings would be cool. But just a for instance: Do the people replying to you know who you are? Because you could be anyone. The Romney coordinator for Texas, even.

Why not take the email of the official Ron Paul coordinator for Texas and have people send their info to him or her privately? Wouldn't that be a better plan? Either that or the decoder rings, I mean.

There is no official Ron Paul coordinator in Texas. The campaign will not have an official presence in Texas and Kentucky due to the Paul's political positions. Therefore, we're left with Super Pacs and grassroots to campaign in Texas.

And if anyone were to doubt my authenticity, I've got the phone number and E-mail address of the Oklahoma State Coordinator for the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign that I'd be happy to give them. He can release my official volunteer application and sworn statements as I served as a county coordinator for the campaign. :)

Well, I've learned something today. No official campaign in TX? That sucks.

That being the case, go back to what you were doing and I will nag you no more. Sorry.

Yep, I was frustrated to find that out. But luckily we've got lots of ground game already laid in DFW and Houston.

No problem, the watchmen must be watched.

Hey, I just want to point out that I'm at the Dallas HQ almost every day and we have tons of people we are organizing and I have no information about anything that has happened with regards to how this thread is helping to organize people. Just to point something out, the Dallas HQ is the only one for North Texas. We are organizing everyone within 150 miles of DFW and have received no support from any other group. We are having delegate training multiple times a week and are serving as the unofficial "campaign" HQ for at least 9 counties. I've heard nothing from any other group in the state. Right now, there is no centralized grassroots network and if you are trying to do this via this thread... where the hell is the phone call or email? Why haven't I seen anything in my group about what y'all are doing with this information? There are 17 days until the SD conventions. You can either get something done with this information or you can quit trolling us.

The person collecting the information.

The whole point is to have a single reference thread for volunteers. You're more than welcome to contact the people that have identified themselves as in your area. Others are encouraged to get with For Liberty PAC as they've got centers scattered throughout Texas.

If that is the point of the Thread, then it does not need to be in a public forum like Grassroots Central. I don't know if you've noticed this but up here in Dallas we are meeting organized resistance and strategies to keep Ron Paul people out of the process.

Then it can be moved to a private forum, I don't care. I never said anyone had to give revealing information if they're involved in the delegate process. Perhaps you should use the information here to help people get involved in your region.

I never claimed to be a supreme leader or state wide organizer. I'm merely a volunteer in a far flung region trying to help get people connected. I offered to help facilitate a planning meeting but had no takers. So I'll leave it at that for now.

By the time you get to State, everyone will know who everyone else is anyway.

......and some of us are getting tired of hiding in the shadows like little wimps.

The best way to change the G.O.P. is to show the old-timers that we are not fanatical crazies, potheads, etc.
Instead of spending time on the internet patting each other on the a$$, most of you should do volunteer work.....run for Precinct Chair.....get involved somehow.
And talk to everyone, especially the old-timers. They are scared of the Internet, and their way is the only way they know. Most of them are still living back in the 1970's and 1980's.

Speaking of For Liberty PAC, their website was partially down today. They said they're revamping it. We'll have to wait.

They helped with coordinating delegate training (with YAL and Meetups). I'm not sure how much involved they'll be with the Ft. Worth convention phase.
