My Grandmother, who loved Romney, said a vote for McCain is the same as Obama and Hillary. Maybe well get the Romney votes if all this goes to a brokered convention (although, i realize w/ the gazillion delegates McCain has well most likely be stuck w/ Obama or Hillary).

George Washington had no hard evidence that an agricultural third wolrd country could defeat the biggest empire in the world.

What odds must we overcome? Get conservatives to vote for Ron instead of a socialist Huckabee and a liberal-loving, amnesty-granting McCain.

Will it be easy? No. Is it possible? Yes. Of course it is.

We must focus now. Ron must become the way for every conservative who is unhappy with McCain to express that feeling.

Ron has an incredible, conservative record on:

Taxes
Limited government
States rights
Abortion
Gun rights
The rule of law
Illegal immigration

Push these hard to average republicans.

We're against the wall but we can still stand up and fight. We need to take some states and get aggressive on McCain. Refer plenty of times to "McCain-Kennedy" and the absolute heart-attack liberals would have if Ron got into the White House.

I think we'll struggle to get the 1000 delegates to win outright. Our goal is to get it to a brokered convention when we should be able to appeal to anti-McCain delegates, as well as having had more time to put Ron's case, and build a coalition to get Ron the nomination.

McCain is a Manchurian candidate. He left his boys in Viet nam. He blocked investigations to bring home POW's. He ran to and hugged his torturer, a Viet nam Colonel, after being reunited..heh..with him,. A sure sign he has been made. I think I worded that wrong. I agree we need to discuss all options and start with plans 100%. I was talking about the post saying to stop all 3rd party talk.

+1776. McCain can not be elected without the "real" Conservatives of the Republican Party. Plain and simple. McCain's wins this past Tuesday were abysmal considering he won the Republican votes in blue Democratic states like Illinois. That is why the GOP hacks forced Romney to quit. It would not look good if McCain kept losing red Republican states to Romney, Huckabee, and Dr. Paul.
