A few people are assembling a proposal for HQ to conduct a MLK-day townhall. Rough summary of proposal: Dr. Paul should leverage this time to reach out to Americans, outside the frames of mainstream media, to discuss racism, the politicians and policies that promote wedges, and how Ron's policies and frames break-down these wedges. MLK-day could provide an extraordinary opportunity for an extended television event (broadcast over Internet, public access TV and satellite), with Ron sitting in a room of young people (of all colors and supporters of all mainstream candidates) at a major college or university. I would think that in 2-hours Ron would be able to break down many of the frames that Americans are repeatedly fed by mainstream candidates and begin to shed the "kook" and "racist" labels being distributed by the mainstream. Just think of all the positive YouTube clips and commercials that would come from such a forum.
