Ted Cruz sets sights on Rand Paul’s libertarian base

I don't like Cruz's foreign policy, but I do appreciate that he at least acknowledges that we exist as a movement and is trying to earn our vote. I think that Rand is clearly the best option for those of us who believe in liberty, but I do have to give Cruz credit for at least trying to reach out to us. I've been complaining for a long time that the Republican Party simply ignores us and pretends like we don't exist at all, so I would be being hypocritical if I criticized Cruz for trying to reach out to libertarian voters.

He is not trying to earn our vote so much as to crush Rand. The only reason Cruz is running is to destroy Rand.
